Great product, good quality. Keeps butter fresh. Wish it had a handle on top to lift lid. My last two nice porcelain butter dishes cracked or I dropped it right above the sink. This lid is heavy and usually my hands are greasy and I pick up the lid very carefully. A handle on the top would have made it easier to handle but this was designed for a modern expensive looking addition to your kitchen. I don’t know how long it will take to slip out of my hands and break, my last porcelain dish slipped out of my hand a few inches above the sink and broke. The one before that broke the bottom of the dish in the dish washer. Holds two sticks of butter which is nice. Very easy to clean. I love the way it looks and it’s handsome design but when this one breaks I will return to plastic or stainless steel. Would make a great gift.

Beautiful color with my neutral colored kitchen. Perfect for my European size butter cubes. Love the versatility, weight and durability is great easy to clean. Keeps our butter fresh. Worth the purchase.

I don’t love the clear glass or plastic butter dishes because I think they look messy after first use. I also was looking for something that fit the kerrygold Irish pads of butter we buy most frequently (west coast style). This was exactly as pictured. It is plenty big enough for the butter sticks we buy. I like that it can be used upside down. Matches our kitchen colors and has a nice appearance. The ceramic seems like it is durable and should last a long time.

I was pleasantly surprised about this dish. It’s is beautifully made and will hold the large European butter blocks. 2 if they are placed on their sides. It also looks beautiful on the counter top compared to plastic models. Easy to use and clean. Also fits in the refrigerator butter compartment with ease. So glad I purchased this dish!!

Color and glaze is uniform. The large lid is easy to grasp when used in the traditional fashion.

Luv this thing! Great size so, butter and cover rarely touch. Keeps it clean. Solid as can be and aesthetically pleasing.

Love it, love the color, love how heavy it is, just love everything about it. Pretty durable have accidentally tossed it around on my counter and it hasn’t broken.. doesn’t dry the butter, and to clean it you just use soap and hot water… cleans it right out!
