We recently had our (very active) 6 month old kitten spayed. Our vet advised that although they could sell us a bodysuit we could get one cheaper on Amazon. She came home with the 'cone of shame' on and managed to remove it twice in 10 minutes. We put the bodysuit on (we bought the Small size), it fitted perfectly and she was comfortable, able to eat, drink and use the litter tray. She had to wear it day and night for the first 5 days, then at night for the remaining 5. She looked super cute, was admired by the vet. Most importantly she was happy and safe. The only thing we noted that others have mentioned was she walked a bit oddly with it on, but stopped this when it was removed.

Got couple of these for 5 months old kitten spay. Quality was good and easy to put on with help. Found the legs were making her fall over and act weird, so I cut them above knee joints, a lot better. She only sometimes walked as if she had stepped in water. Also, toggle on neck sticks up so put it between poppers on back, lot better. Quick to hand wash if needed, but can be machine washed. Also I would cut the size label off on outside, size runs true. She was glad to get rid of it though! No probs going to toilet as cut away big enough and kept clean. Very quick delvery, next day, thank you Amazon!

Our cat had been spayed so she wore this little post surgery suit (size M) on her return from the vet.I did however have to trim the onesie legs off to the seams so it was a more comfortable fit over her suture site as previously we had tried it on her pre-op and found it to be very restrictive around her hind quarters.As it is now, she can walk around comfortably and use her litter tray with no hindrance from the ill fitting leg sleeves.10/10 - after tweaking with scissors!

First cat I bought this for: Measured the cat along her spine and according to that she's a size large. But the suit wrinkled around her back legs, it was a too long and the legs were baggy, she looked kind of cute but very annoyed and it took her seconds to escape. Disappointed because I really hoped it would be a good alternative to the cone. Seems nice quality and the poppers are stiff enough not to come undone although it would be a better design if it didn't need to go over the cat's head and poppered open all the way along, and you could then tighten the neckline and tie it off so the cat can't just pull it lose. Two improvements that would help make it easier and more secure.Second cat: kitten needed a suit after her spay, so I bought a much smaller one of these as apart from the size the first one did seem ok. It was still a little on the large size (she was about 2.4kg and I got the small). Definitely needed to turn the legs up a turn so she could walk. It kind of did the job, stopped her bombing about, which was what the vet wanted, but after a few days she leaned how to get all the poppers undone and pulled it off over her head even though I tied a knot in the pull cord to stop it coming loose. I doubt there's any cat suit a determined cat couldn't get out of but this is at least better quality material than some.

Brilliant little onesie (officially called a recovery shirt) for my cat, who has to have a cruciate ligament operation. She is semi-feral and has to be crate bound for 6 weeks. I won't be able to change dressings/bandages etc, so this seems ideal for her to leave the wound (around the knee area) alone, until it has healed. This particular onesie has longer legs. She wore a similar garment (without the long legs) when she was spayed and she tolerated it really well. So much better than a recovery collar. Easy to remove when I need to and full body coverage (apart from the butt area), so would be ideal for a multitude of wound sites.Great price and next-day delivery, so we are now all set. Wish us luck !

My cat is after surgery and i bought this cause she was looking sad with a cone and wasn't able to eat properly. Now, with bodysuit on she can't walk at all. She is trying but she walks like an alkie and after half a meter she is falling back on the floor meowing distressed. This is a straight jacket joke, not a bodysuit. Back legs longsleeves are not helping at all. Tail hole is too small, you would definitely have to wash it everytime. Product not made and designed with love for cats, it is made with love for money. I don't recommend. I regret buying it and stressing my furbaby. Refund

kept my sweet Poppy from getting at her stitches. a great alternative to the cone which really quite upset her. definitely be sure to measure though - this fitted her perfectly length wise as i got a size L but could’ve gotten away with a M as the arms/legs were slightly too long and needed to be folded up. otherwise, great quality & did exactly as needed!

My cat is an over groomer so wears these to help protect her from being totally bald! She had this one on for less than 12 hours and has managed to shred it on the back. The suits usually last a significantly longer time than this and this one was more expensive than the previous ones I have bought. Not really up to the job. Cats have sharp claws and teeth, it needs to be made of more robust fabric.Fit was good though so I gave it an extra star for that
