Edit: I would like to add this. The overlay tape doesn’t stay stuck the life of the sensor. I’m having to stress the remaining overlay will last till I get more ordered Friday (October 31, 2026 and they make it in next week.) I just wished more came in the kit then the 2, not everyone can just purchase instantly in the middle of the month that only get paid once a month. Other than that I love this and whoever came up with this idea did a great idea. Idk how many times I have caught the guard on things and my sensor has continued to work and not come out! Wished I had got one sooner. I love this thing. It fits perfectly with my Dexcom G7. It really saves me from knocking my sensor off. I will be buying a different one for a different CGM because my insurance provider has decided it won’t cover dexcom anymore. But I plan on giving my dump cover to a friend of mine who uses dexcom! She can’t wait to use it. I would recommend this product and I like that it’s made by veteran. Durability is great! Comfort I can’t even feel it’s on! Great value too! The overlays stay on really good. I can’t say if the overlay causes issues with skin for those who have sensitivity to adhesives like I do. I use sure prep all the time to stop the breakdown of skin. All in all this is a great product. Wish I had bought it sooner!

This was easy to use! It fits perfectly, and it’s comfortable! I feel confident that my device is secure in place. The quality of this product is amazing, it is flexible. Ill be back to buy more colors! This will fit the transparent/waterproof over patches as well. This is my first sensor; ever! Day 5 and it has almost fallen off multiple times. I dont have the fear of it coming off now with this.

Probably should have read more of the reviews before I bought this. I wanted to try a different brand because this one offered faster shipping and I’m always concerned I’ll knock my sensor off. I have another one from another brand that has little “ticks” where the Dexcom is held in place, this one doesn’t have that so it doesn’t fit properly. It’s like the bumper isn’t even the correct size. Because the fit wasn’t correct, it was hard to try and put the bumper on with one hand along with an adhesive patch because it kept falling off. I wasted about 3 patches before I gave up. I wouldn’t recommend. Will be returning and going back to my original brand.

This is a life protector for any Type 1 diabetic. Dexcom com 7 is a continual accurate blood sugar monitor for diabetics even some Type II diabetics . This strong plastic fits over the active Dexcom. Now diabetics can safely do almost anything & not worry about their monitor. BTW my diabetic hubby loves it. ❤️❤️🥇🏆👏🏻

The flexible cover that acts like a bumper is great, but the sticky covers that they send are too big and the bumper comes out of the hole of the covers. The flexible cover does not fit easily in other brand covers.

Would give it a 5 but the color online looks glittery for the one called "Crystal" but it's actually just clear. Please rename to Clear for better description. Otherwise, it works perfect to protect from bumping. I put it on after the Dexcom stickers so that the extra sticker I put over it doesn't stick to the CGM sticker and risk pulling off should it get pulled off or sticker come off prematurely. Makes for easier replacement.

The Best thing for dexcom wearing people. For those moments you hit the door 🚪 frame with your arm, the shield takes the beating without the dexcom ripping off your skin as well 😀.

I've switched from using a Dexcom G6 to the G7. One of the first things that I realized really quickly is that it is easy to accidentally remove it. The sample one I wiped off my arm in the shower with a towel. The next one somehow caught on my truck seat when I grabbed my laptop bag and ripped out of my arm. Thus why I purchased this guard and another brand of guard to try. They work fairly well protecting the sensor for a period of time. Then they actually allow the sensor to slide around and it actually manages to turn off the sensor because of how loose it gets. Keep in mind, it was on tight and the sensor didn't move at all after the guard was attached. I rub the cover patch because the glue adheres better when a little movement heats it up. I don't know if the cover patch is stretching over time or if the glue is losing its adherence. They really need to address these issues before it impacts their market niche. Try it and hopefully you get better results then I did.

It does what it is supposed to do, but most overpatches (including the ones that come with the dexcom) do not fit over it, so you need to buy ones specifically compatible with it. Had I realised that, I probably wouldn't have purchased it.
