I play the Xwing game maybe once a year. But i really like the idea of the bomber. I'm a big ww2 aviation flight and i love the influence the b17 / b25 influences on the design of these ships. Hope they show up in a new movie at some point with a more successful mission. The model is great. Quite big in comparison to the other ships. Painting looks good and the stand works well. I've got the model on my desk. Can't speak to the combat effectiveness of the ship in the game, but it looks awesome.

I didn’t even use bombs when playing X-wing mini’s before I got this, But now it’s a must. This ship has the ability to either drop a bomb behind it as normal, or you may launch an explosive five spaces ahead, which has worked almost every time I have used that upgrade. On top of its bombing abilities, it’s turrets give it a 360 degree firing arc, and it can take a nasty beating before it goes down.Not to mention it looks fantastic on the shelf

Excellent expansion for cards and the ship itself - a SUPER COOL model! Must-have ordnance/tech upgrades - Only gripe would have been that it’s $40, but I only paid $17 so TOTALLY worth it at that price!

The bomber is a good size and is pretty faithful to the movie. The item was shipped quickly and arrived as scheduled in perfect condition. The seller was communicative and the price was perfect. Very happy.

For those of you who play the game of x-wing, you probably know what you're getting into with this. It is a version one resistance bomber, so it comes with all of the bits to use this ship in version one, however you'll need to pick up a resistance conversion kit (or get the version 2 cards/cardboard for this ship off eBay or similar) in order to put it on the table. It's a pretty sturdy ship health/shields wise, and carries a double turret. It has many slots to fill out with bombs and the like, and is the resistance faction's main bombing ship.As far as x-wing ships go, this is a large ship, so bigger than the normal tie fighters, etc. As a display piece, it looks pretty nice, and the model as always with x-wing products is very nicely detailed. If you're looking into this as a toy, I caution you because while this is a bigger ship than most in the x-wing line, it's still probably smaller than you expect, and pretty fragile to boot, so less than ideal for smaller kids.
