Somehow I managed to lose my previous anker charger and cable!? Due to my stupidness, I think I dropped it outside my car and some kind person is probably enjoying it now. Oh well, on the bright side, this charger is a significant upgrade. Every part of it feels like high quality. Just as you'd expect from Anker, the electronics are superb and this charges my S8 super fast. It fits security into the charging socket and I love how the usb sockets glow blue. Don't worry, its not as blinding as the Vegas strip lights (Anker's previous charger had a stupidly bright led that has caused me retinal burn, good luck to the new owner), but this one has a soft enough glow for it to blend in with the lights on a dash. Well done for removing that. One negative is that the secure fit can and fake carbon fibre can make it difficult to get out of the socket. I also wish that it had a power down function, so that I can leave it in the socket permanently without fear of draining the battery when parked. Overall though, just buy it. Another due to be big seller.

I do like Anker stuff: I have bought several items from them and always found them to be solidly built, effective and smart looking. Their cables are excellent and customer service is good too. This dual USB looks the part in a smart black/blue finish, again it has a feeling of solidity to it, of being well manufactured. It's shorter than some others you might find which I like because it fits better on the dash. It performs faultlessly for my needs, though I haven't tested it in a technical sense (with a meter and stopwatch). Anker products are a bit more expensive than some offers on Amazon but I have always found their products to be worth the extra. Recommended, would buy again.

**update** following my previous review I was contacted by Anker regarding the issue. They apologised for the product issues i experienced and offered to provide the correct charger free of charge. Dispatched same day and received thr next and it works perfectly and is the same high quality as the other charger. Great customer service and great product!**original review** Bought this based on the star rating, it said it provides high speed charging to two devices and works with my Galaxy S8. What i didnt know was that 'high speed charging' didn't mean the same as 'fast charge' which was a little misleading but i could have done more homework. Its a nice looking and robust feeling charger but I'll be returning for a refund.

5 months of daily use in and it works perfectly and hasn’t let me down. Looks good and is decent quality. There’s a thin blue light around the USB ports that light up when it’s plugged in and receiving power which is a handy visual check. Unfortunately this blue light can only be seen when it’s dark outside. On a bright sunny day it’s impossible to see the blue light so you can’t tell if it’s on or off just by looking at. A minor detail but it would be nice to be able to see the blue light in the day

Really good quality and the blue lights look cool in the dark :)I ordered this because my last double usb charger was useless, it was hold the phones charge but wouldnt charge it when using intensive apps like navigation. The other massive annoyance was when it was connected, it somehow interferred with my DAB radio reception. Since ordering this Anker model I've had no problems, phone charges fine and the radio works as it did before. I can only assume this is made with high quality parts and doesn't give off any electromagnetic something or others which interfere with reception like my old one did.

I bought this as I've been so impressed by other Anker products in design, performance, reliability and price.Testing this out in the car, it supplies 1A to my Nexus 6P which is a standard (not rapid) charge for the phone, which should serve the purpose of maintaining power for GPS / Sat-nav usage on long journeys.I like the dim outline lighting on the ports, a nice touch for being able to locate the ports at night, and thankfully not a dazzlingly bright blue LED light that so many products have.

Excellent product from a great company.I have used Anker chargers/cables for the last few years and now I don’t even bother with the cables included with the devices I buy, I just get an Anker version which I know won’t let me down.This car charger is great and works really well. I was struggling to find a decent twin charger with a small form factor to fit in my car and took a chance in this one. Fits perfect for what I need and charges my devices perfectly every time. The fast charge feature works really well on my Samsung devices so thumbs up there too.

I got this to upgrade a cheap charger I got years ago now that my devices demand more power when running. I use this to power my dashcam and power my phone (Samsung Note 8) at the same time and it works without issue. I would stress that you use a high quality charging cable to get the best results as cheaper ones use thin wires which won't let you charge to this chargers full potential.The charger fits very nicely in the 12v cigarette socket and is quite tight ensuring it makes a good connection at all times. I haven't accidentally knocked it or pulled it out yet unlike my old one.

Sehr gutes Produkt. Funktioniert einwandfrei, bietet Lademöglichkeiten für 2 Geräte parallel und sieht auch noch sehr attraktiv aus. An anderer Stelle habe als negative Kritik gelesen, dass das Ladegerät sehr fest in der Zigarettenanzünderbuchse sitzt. Das stimmt auch. Aber ich sehe das eher positiv als negativ, da so eine sichere Verbindung im Auto sichergestellt ist. Alles in allem ist das Gerät sehr empfehlenswert.
