Upon opening I didn’t have much hope as it felt really cheap.. however works perfectly and doesn’t feel cheap once fitted, very sturdy. Very happy :)

This isn’t a real know from indesit. It’s a 3D printed one. It looks cheap and not brilliant to look at but it does the job perfectly so it’s worth it

You shouldn’t pay £9.99 for this like I did.Nowhere does the product description disclose that the part is 3d printed, only that it is “plastic”. The one clue is if you happen to zoom in on the product photos and see the print lines. If I had seen that before ordering then I wouldn’t have purchased it, but regardless:If the fact that it’s 3d Printed isn’t a dealbreaker for you, you should know that the print I received isn’t great quality, corners have clearly been cut to reduce print time and it feels as cheap as it looks. I could’ve printed a higher quality one on my own (cheap) 3d printer and it would have cost me pennies.While it has survived its first use and I’d need to use it more to be sure, I’m not optimistic about its longterm durability.Design-wise, the knob has no means of properly attaching to the dryer. It will slide in place and allow you to turn the dial if that’s all you need, but it doesn’t actually secure in place, it will just slide back off with very little resistance. Maybe some hot glue or blu-tac might adhere it well enough? But, for a product that costs a tenner, it all feels a bit daft.

A good value replacement part. The fit is a bit loose on the shaft, otherwise everything is fine.

After I broke the knob on my dryer, I embarked on a search to find a suitable and cheap replacement. I was surprised when this arrived as it looked home made on a 3D printer but you know what? It is absolutely spot-on for fit and usability.
