Running my portable radio,powering a camera,Tv controller etc. They continue to work as when new over an extended period

We use them in a portable DAB radio which resides in the Bathroom. A single charge will last comfortably one week!

If you have an application where these batteries are sitting in a charger and go straight into the device, these will just keep going, and going. They're the pinnacle of NiMH and easily hit their 2650-2850 mAh spec after a few cycles. And they will keep that for many, many cycles. I've confirmed that with my own charger (both with charge and discharge tests) and all four of the pack I got are well within spec. This is the second pack of these I've got and those were within spec too - and still are. Some reviewers have clearly been unlucky but I haven't yet.Aside from that, they can take a 1 A charge and easily handle high current applications. Want to draw 3 A from them for 45 minutes? No problem, they'll do it. Most other AA-size batteries won't.Problem is, the self discharge is, like most "original" NiMH designs, pretty bad. Most people don't leave their batteries on the charger. These batteries will lose charge pretty quickly sitting around, especially when freshly charged. Ansmann - and other manufacturers - make low self discharge now that have lower mAh but you'll get to actually get to use most of it. Unless you absolutely need the maximum mAh from batteries, I'd consider those instead.

One problem with sets of rechargeables is nearly always one weak cell amongst the four that does not hold its charge for long.My sophisticated battery tester, and other chargers with diagnostic and discharge - recharge function can ease some issues. Evaluating a set takes time which is the reason for my delayed. response. This is a real bug-bear when using sets of four in portable flash guns.I have had over two decades of experience with rechargeable AAA and AAA cells and switched to Ansmann back in the early noughties (with 2200 and then 2400 mAh - greenish finish) on grounds of improved reliability. However on switching to later 2700 and then 2800 mAh types I am experiencing weak cells in any batch of four. The 2700s I purchased around the start of this decade are now not that reliable when it comes to holding charge.I purchased three sets of 2800 mAh a couple of years back (one with an Ansmann Photocam III charger) and had issues with weak cells recently so purchased another three sets just this last month, one set again with an Ansmann Photocam III charger. I have three other Ansmann chargers of different types, one a rapid Digispeed 4, one an Ansmann Powerline 4 (which also has a discharge - recharge function) and an Ansmann energy 4 which has cell diagnostic feature.I have also used other manufactures cells of similar charge values and these suffer from similar inconsistencies.I imagine a factory somewhere, probably China, churning these out and simply putting different makers labelling on from one week to the next.

Great accu. But also great support: they replaced my faulty cell within few days at no extra cost with nice bonus!

One battery didn't work but others are very good

These are the best batteries I've ever used. We use these for powering underground caving lights, where we need reliable and robust batteries you can trust. They last a LONG time, and are by far the most reliable batteries we have ever used. I also use them in infra red night scopes fitted to my rifles for shooting at night - again, they power the scopes for MUCH longer than any other make (By a factor of 2) and are totally reliable. I will never buy any other make than these - Buy some now - you wont regret it.

I'm a pro photographer and I use these batteries for everything. They never let you don. Charge quickly. The only thing I would say is that after about 18 months are so, I notice that they don't hold a charge for quite as long. Other than that they are tip top and great value for money.

The media could not be loaded.  dopo aver testato le batterie e quindi dopo la prima scarica e ricarica completa, soltanto 4 batterie corrispondono a quanto dichiarato sull'annuncio e quindi il minimo di 2650 mAh su 8 batterie acquistate.Come potete vedere nelle foto e nel video alla prima ricarica completa l'ampiezzanon corrisponde su 4 batterie con un risultato inferiore ai 2650 mAh. Le altre 4 invece rispettano l'ampiezza dichiarata e hanno una buona durabilità.Venditore onesto e corretto, dopo aver comunicatogli il problema e fatto vedere le foto dei risultati mi ha emesso un rimborso parziale per le 4 batterie risultate al di sotto delle aspettative.Speriamo che il mio sia stato solo un caso che le 4 batterie non risultino arrivare all'ampiezza dichiarata, perché sembrano buone batterie dato che le altre 4 batterie delle 8 totali acquistate, riaggiungono alla grande l'ampiezza dichiarata e anche come durabilità hanno una buona durata . Queste batterie sembrano affidabili, sarà stato un caso il mio.Venditore corretto.Le consiglio comunque

Wer Ansmann kauft kennt das: Er bekommt gute Qualität zum fairen Preis, eben ein gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis.Aber was bedeutet das bei diesen Akkus eigentlich?Es bedeutet, dass man AA NiMh Akkus mit hoher Kapazität bekommt die für die tägliche Anwendung bestens geeignet sind und in fast allen Geräten hervorragend nutzbar sind, mit wenigen Ausnahmen.Pros:#1 Guter Preis, gute Kapazität#2 Halten viele Ladezyklen, bei mir bereits über 400#3 Die angegebene Kapazität stimmt (überprüft mit Technoline BC700)Con:#1 Relative hohe Selbstentladung > 20% im ersten Monat#2 Sehr Kälteempfindlich im Vergleich zu anderen Zellen#3 Relative hoher Innenwiderstand, somit für Anwendungen mit (kurzzeitig) hohem Strombedarf nicht nutzbarWas bedeutet der Punkt #3 ?Nicht jeder kann sich was unter Innenwiderstand vorstellen, somit hier eine praxisnahe Erklärung.Ein niedriger Innenwiderstand bedeutet, dass der Akku seine Energie schneller abgeben kann. Ein Akku mit hohem Innenwidersatnd braucht länger um entladen zu werden.Das ist z.B. bei Kinderspielzeug wichtig: Ein Modellauto benötigt z.B. in kurzer Zeit sehr viel Energie. Hier sind diese Ansmann Akkus also nicht so gut geeignet und man ist mit z.B.
