I knew when I was coloring my hair the natural curl was insane but when I let it go to its natural snow white, the curl slowed its roll. This product set brought back my ringlets and natural curls I've been known for. My hair is healthier and fuller PLUS I LOVE THE SCENT! I was really hoping the products would work synergistically for me but they did not. I have blonde highlights, so porous and extra frizzy. My hair is 2c-3a? And the curls just frizz using all these. The mousse was too sticky and caused frizz for me, so I personally will continue to stick with layering custard/curl cream, hard hold gel. I like the fragrance and the shine mist though. That can also be sticky but I used when I didn’t wear curly hair and it helped smooth the hair a little, but no frizz fighting for this coarse hair mess! I didn’t find a difference in curl assistance without the mist. I have thick and course Caucasian hair, naturally brown with all over baby highlights. I use the smoothie under my products.

I have been using Shea Moisture products for years and absolutely love them. I ordered this 'bundle' as I couldn't get one of the items individually (without buying 6), so I thought I'd try a couple new things. The item that is a problem is the mousse. While I love the product itself, it doesn't make my hair stiff or 'crunchy', but it has a nice soft hold. But the packaging is terrible. The pump started leaking the first week I had it. You need to shake this before use, and on about day 5, while shaking the bottle it started leaking and I had mousse all over my bathroom counter and mirror! In addition, about 2 days later, when you push the pump down and add a portion of mousse to your hand, the pump 'sticks' and doesn't come back up. So after every pump, while you have a handful of mousse in one hand, you are trying to pull the pump handle back up with the other hand. Maybe this one is just defective, and the seller should replace it, but if that doesn't happen, I will never purchase this again. How can I easily use this when the bottle leaks and the pump doesn't work properly?

The only product my daughter willl use for her long very wavy hair !!
