Long cord to go across your body without putting strain on the connectors. Loud and clear speaker with slightly muffled mic transmit, but not too bad. The factory version is still cleaner but for the price this is a fine mic.I go through a lot of radio accessories in our facility with speaker mics being in the top two expendable items so I'll be stocking these for replacements.Tried on the Hytera 489i and the 552i radios.

Quality is just as good as OEM microphone and this item is way cheaper.

I utilize it on a daily basis at work. Regrettably, occasionally the transmission is not as clear, but it is functional.

I have to admit that I did not really think this radio microphone would work. Worth a try before probation to save my hearing from blaring radio broadcasts. (If I lose my hearing and do not pass probation What have I to sell? MY good looks? No choice.) The screw mount adapter is heavy duty (like OEM equipment) and connects well. The Listen Only jack modulate volume so that I can hear the colleague faint voice as well as the loud voice one. Loved it so much that I kept it. SADLY, I hope I will pass probation. Otherwise, the next job may not use the same brand of radio and I will be screwed. (I had tried 3 other brands of earpieces only. None worked. Either too soft or too loud. Returned them all. This is the one that works with almost all the radio I was issues - 100 colleagues strong.)

I worked in a plant I couldn't hear my walkie talkie verywell now since I bought The Mike. I can hear much better.

Does not fit every other radio in the world...... the 2 pins are way too close for regular radios. This is proprietary. Fyi. Trash to me...... so I cut the cord
