Equally important to this, I found the the soft padded interior/exterior case is perfect to maintain and protect my SONY MDR7506 headphones-- the fitting is snug and fit. Fit my Sony headphones perfectly, very sturdy hard case.

This is a very nice hardshell case, the lining is a soft velvet material, it's perfectly sized to hold Sony MDR-7506 headphones with the attached cord and RCA jack. Don't know why others think it's too small, I folded my headphones as I always do, put them in the case and coiled the cord around the remaining space, they fit exactly with no room to shift around. Now I won't have to worry about the headphones getting dusty in between sessions or accidently being damaged - definitely worth getting!

My case arrived without the inside pocket. On the seller's page the case is shown in the photograph with an inside pocket. Overall the case is strong and fits the headphones well. But if the seller shows the case as having an inside pocket in the photograph of the case, then they should send a case with an inside pocket. The case is just like the photographs except for one thing. That one thing is that the one sent to me hasn't any inside pocket. It is a great case, but one thing would make it just like it was shown in the sellers photographs. That one thing would be for mine to have an inside pocket. My case has no inside pocket. It Would make me happy to have an inside pocket. I don't have an inside pocket. They sent me a case unlike the one in their photographs. They sent me one without an inside pocket. I am sad not to have an inside pocket. I did dream of having an inside pocket. My dream did not come true. I have no inside pocket. What will become of me now? I have no inside pocket. All is lost. I am unfulfilled because of the lack of an inside pocket. Well, you get the idea.

It is an excellent product. Eas of carrying and very protective.

Works to keep a brand new pair of Sony MDR7506's from knotted cable syndrome. Prior headphone pair lasted 20 years, but in a ziplock bag... not as pretty... or secure.
