This puzzle is a traditional jigsaw cut wood puzzle. I love the wood puzzles because there's no cardboard puzzle dust. The colors are beautiful and it looks just like the pictures in the listing. There are letters on the back to help if you want to use them. It took us about 8 hours in total to put the puzzle together. Good for beginner to intermediate level puzzle players.

I got this wooden puzzle because of the beautiful vibrantly colored artwork and the fact that it was 1,000 pieces. It arrived in a nice slide out box with all the pieces in a pretty purple organza bag. When I took the pieces out of the bag, there were some that had a few pieces still attached together. Also a couple had jagged edges and there was definitely some wood dust, but I cleaned that up quickly with a sticky roller.We tried not using the letters on the back of the puzzle pieces, but it was too difficult, so we relented. Some of the pieces got placed in the wrong spots, so it helped looking at the back to see which ones were wrong. My daughter and I worked on the puzzle for 2 days and finished it. She is definitely better at it than I am!This is my first wooden puzzle purchase and I definitely like it better than the cheap cardboard ones. I also love that it included a full size poster as we referred to it often. I posted a pic of the top half poster with the bottom half puzzle and you can see how closely they match. Overall, a beautiful puzzle that was fun to complete!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this cat series puzzle.. Enjoyable to put together & they are beautiful & different., HOWEVER the balsa wood is not very good for use in puzzles. Pieces can be very difficult to put in place. But will persevere so keep bringing them on!!!

I love doing puzzles. I actually have over 100 finished and matted together, while some are in larger picture frames hanging on my walls. I saw this one and thought it had a unique cat look, so I wanted it for my collection.The pieces feel thicker and sturdier than most puzzles, which have thin cardboard. On the others you end up bending the pieces if you try them in and out of others too much. Comes in a drawer like box and a nice mesh bag. Also comes with a big poster of it as well. The pieces are also different shapes to make it a tad easier for you. Not sure if the letters on the back mean something ( maybe they go together with other matching letters.), because I haven't started it yet due to another puzzle on my table at this time. Also the pieces aren't too small, I feel they are just the right size.Looking forward to starting this one, I hope it is a little bit of a challenge!

This 1000-piece jigsaw puzzle has a secret – the high-quality, high-precision pieces all have printing on the back to assist in figuring out which piece goes where – or not! The puzzle is challenging enough to capture interest, but at the same time, it’s not so difficult as to cause the puzzler to become overwhelmed. The image side of the puzzle is beautifully printed with deep, rich colors. As with all jigsaw puzzles, this one can be accomplished solo, but I have found that it is a lot more enjoyable to host a puzzle party, with lots of friends helping to create the masterpiece!

The puzzle arrived in a drawer in a box. The pieces were in a nice pouch, with a full size poster of the picture. It is a very hard puzzle because colors can change with no reference to the next piece. I flattened the poster, and put the puzzle together on top of the poster. Still hard, because the pieces can be oriented in many different ways, not in any kind of a grid. The pieces fit together firmly, so don't force them. The picture is beautiful, and I have to admit, I have not finished putting it together yet. I have been working on it a few hours at a time. I love the challenge of fitting each piece and watching the picture grow.

The media could not be loaded. I requested to exchange the puzzle with the hopes that the pieces come not broken and separated as expected. The box is perfectly fine so that means the pieces were broken during the making process and not cut correctly during the making process.

I am a jigsaw puzzle fan, and I'm running out of scenarios to choose from. I like animals, but most of the landscape and pet scenes are one color or similar colors. I LOVE how bright this is! The pieces are strong as well. You don't have to worry about the pieces bending.Overall, it's not something that I'd pay that much for just because I go through my puzzles so fast, and I don't do them twice. As a gift however, it's a good deal. It's something a person may not allow themselves to buy for themselves--but they'll buy it as a special gift.
