I love the McMaster slides SO much. They make running fecals significantly easier. These slides are great quality - they're easy to clean, theyre not super fragile, and theyre easy to see through. For beginners, having a slightly darker grid might be handy, but you can still see the grid fine. Im not a huge fan of the tweezers that come with this kit as theyre very cheap, and i think the beakers are a bit small, but i also run 4g fecals which is fairly large. The pipettes are great.

I learned how to do a fecal examination from a friend. Then I ordered the supplies, this kit had everything I needed. I raise Katahdin sheep and I want to keep them healthy and parasite free. This kit with the McMasters chambered slides, the beakers, tweezers for mashing up the fecal pellets and the …….. oh heck, what's the name of those darned suck up the liquid, squirty things? Oh well, look at the picture, yeah, THOSE things! Haha. Now I run my sheep through the chute, don latex gloves, dig for doo-doo and follow the instructions for a liquid solution to place in the slides-using those squirty thingies. LOL LOL I count the parasite eggs and know which sheep to treat. This is also a great aid in knowing which sheep do not have parasite resistance, so that I can cull them from the flock, leading to healthier animals in my flock.

The equipment is perfect. Beakers are the right size, not too large or small. Items came quickly and carefully packed. I would use this company again.

I am using this kit to test animals on my farm. if you already have a microscope and other standard lab kit, this is a very easy all-in-one solution.

Enough material to complete home fecal examination on livestock and pets to avoid worming an animal that doesn’t require it. Just add a microscope and ready to go.

The tweezers are very flimsy and not really usable. All other items are great. Real glass beakers.
