This is made from real bacon, I believe. Nothing like the little Bacon Bits we used to buy when I was younger. These are really tasty.

Interesting that I was not looking for this specific type bacon bits (chopped). Quite frankly I didn’t even know there was such a choice. I was looking for the bacon bits through Amazon because the stores, at least here in California, want 7.99 for a similar type package/brand and MUCH smaller pieces. I decided to see if Amazon is a bit cheaper for the same product and they were, but then this particular size came up and said, chopped, which I had never seen in the stores i go too. I liked the bigger “bites” AND price! Bought them and will now switch to chopped as they are great on Cesar salads, soups etc. (in moderation of course) and have subtle smoke hardwood flavor (real bacon too not imitation). A good find I must say on a product I didn’t know existed (being chopped as opposed to pieces). Will now buy these. Enjoy!

Easy to use. Just not enough in package. Taste was great. Maybe offer in larger size.

The description says pack of 4 in two places but I only got 1.

Says “pack of 4”. Bought 4 thinking I’d recieve 16 packs and only received 4? Very deceiving

I’m too lazy to cook bacon…and most store bought ”bits” aren’t that good. These are great! You can see, feel, taste they are real bacon. I use in salads, eggs, etc. ,

How wonderful to not have to crisp up my bacon so I can crumble it in my grits…this bacon is already in small pieces so I can just pour it into my grits, straight out of the bag! It looks and tastes like I spent time cooking and chopping up my own bacon for salads, grits, in scrambled eggs or omelets, but all I did was open the bag and pour out what I need! And, it’s not all fatty, you get the best of the bacon. I’ve been using my bag for two weeks and find it just as fresh and delicious as the day I opened it! Which reminds me…I’d better order a couple more…I can put one in the freezer and have the other one ready as back up because mine is almost all gone!
