Good HDD
Fitted in place of a failing HDD in my Win 11 machine. Works well. Had to set volume and format using Windows computer management - storage-disk management.

6tb storage for sannce CCTV control box
Easy to install easy to format on machine works silently much better than the original that had lasted over 10 years. 24/7 record of 5 CCTV cameras excellent speed, very quiet.

OK, but slightly noisier than my old WD Purple 1TB. Was not delivered double boxed as selected / requested from Amazon.

It just works
Fast delivery and quick to install. Used 2 of these 4TB drives in a Hikvision NVR and they were auto detected and set up without any problem. They have only been running for about a month but I have had no issues.

6 months - so far no issues.
Bought it for the home NAS. Was thinking about going with IronWolf but have been recommended Skyhawk siries instead as they are cheaper. NAS was in operation for about 6 months, so far no complaints. Not a lot of noise as it's a 5400rpm drive. Speed is also about as expected from an HDD. Drive is perfect suitable for gigabit networking.
