Loved these shoes! We hiked Hawaii over some rough trails with rocks, muddy paths and through rocky rivers and mud puddles. The shoes held up great! The guide said they were exactly what we needed for the hike. Very lightweight. They fit snugly without feeling tight and have a slight arch support. The elastic laces can be adjusted and the end tucked in. Comfortable and easy to put on. I was worried they would rub without socks for a long hike and they did not! They are breathable mesh with extra material around the toe area and have small holes on the bottom that let the water out. The water did not come through on a slightly wet trail. The tread is just enough to give you grip on the trails. The shoe inserts are removable for easy cleaning. I threw mine in the washer and they came out good as new. I usually wear an 8 1/2 or 9. The 8 1/2 was too small so I ordered 9 1/2 and they fit perfect. I would buy these again.

My husband and I both got a pair of these for a vacation that included beach and water, zip lining (so we needed closed toes), and lots of walking. These shoes were perfect! They were super comfortable with lots of walking. We transitioned smoothly from activity to activity without needing a footwear change.They dried out quickly after being drenched multiple times. The insoles stayed put when in use, but were easy to remove for quick drying.We purchased a half size up for both of us based on reviews. That was perfect! I usually wear an 8 regardless of the shoe, and an 8.5 fit very well. It's less relevant, but I like the look and style a lot more than other water shoes. We have used them back at home, and they are wearing well so far. I would not hesitate to buy them again.

The shoe is lightweight, fits well, sizing is as expected. Easy to slip on, and relatively comfortable to walk around in. It had really good traction on the rocky bottom of the river and pond, and they were completely dry in less than 15 minutes. I would recommend them and buy them again.

I'm not sure why there would be any bad reviews about these shoes. They have been a life saver for me. I work in the food industry and they are completely slip proof and unless you pour water on them, any small spills roll right off of the tops. I had awful pain in my arches and within a couple of hours my feet would start to ache. This was with spending a fortune on expensive shoes that promised to "help" with foot pain. But these shoes are actually a miracle. I have zero foot pain and actually hate taking them off when I'm done working, they are that comfortable. So far they are holding up really well, they still look new and have no signs of wear after wearing them for several weeks now! When it's time to buy new shoes I am buying these again, no question!

Bought these for my husband to wear on our beach vacation. In the past, we've purchased ones which just fell apart by vacations end and other expensive high-end ones which produced blisters galore.THESE however, were soooo comfortable, lightweight, well-made and a very good price! We'd buy them again when these wear out!

I have been looking for a hiking/water shoe to where while kayaking for a while now. I really liked this shoe because it seemed to combine the features I want. I will say that the shoe is decent...better than what I would have expected at the price point. BUT...and this is HUGE...the sizing is silly!!!! I wear a 10.5 athletic shoe i just about every sneaker on the planet. This company only offers a 10 or 11. The 10 is too small and the 11 is too big. Everyone is retail knows the 10.5 is WITHOUT QUESTION and BY FAR the most popular mens shoe size in the US. Why this company would simply NOT OFFER the MOST POPULAR shoe size is mind boggling. If you wear a 10.5, you will either have to deal with a slightly over sized 11 like I did or squeeze into a 10...or better yet...just find some shoes that actually fit.

The media could not be loaded.  This is seriously the best investment I made for my Hawaii vacation! I wore these almost every single day on the beach, on the sand, in the ocean, swimming, snorkeling, walking in rocks, walking on the street, and stepping on jagged rocks on the shore. They were light weight, comfortable but had a snug fit so I was confident they wouldn't slip off while I was swimming.They are super easy to clean too. In my shower, I slipped out the sole, gave it a rinse, and let it out to dry. When I needed them to dry asap, I used a blow dryer.I also didn't think they looked ugly. They actually look pretty normal. My black pair matched all my beachwear.Overall, this is my number one recommendation for all my friends and family who are going to Hawaii or to the beach.
