Good strong padlock
The padlock works ok but only 2 keys it's for my garage doors could really use another key as I would like to put it on car keyring and have it to hand when using the car 🚨

Feel secure with this traditional pad lock.
I have had several cheaper locks which have detiorated due to rain and become difficult to open.

Looks like a padlock, works like a padlock, the real deal.
Why didn’t I just buy these in the first place? I’ve just sworn at hurt my fingers and hit with a brick to open the second pair of rusting, seized up cheap padlocks in a year that were supposed to be rated for outdoor use - soI immediately went home and ordered two of these. I remember these things from my childhood and it’s nice to see them still around, still the traditional shape and hopefully the same quality as they always were. I don’t expect I’ll have to replace these in a hurry. I like that the keyhole is on the front not underneath and I like that I don’t have to push the shackle hard into the lock body to close it, it’s hinged rather than pop-up. Simple, sturdy., timeless and a little bit handsome.

Old fashioned locks
I bought these to use on my shed. I got tired of more modern padlocks rusting, seizing up, and breaking after quite short periods of use. It seems that few are built to handle a bit of rain or frost. Anyway, these are doing okay so far. They are a bit fiddly to start with - there is no spring assistance for the hasp, so you have to open and close it yourself, and the key has to be fully turned both to open and lock it. Another thing to bear in mind is that there aren't that many combinations on a four-lever lock, and you can go on Ebay and buy a set of every possible key quite cheaply. So, top security it ain't, but as a basic long-life outdoor lock, they're pretty good.

Traditional-looking padlock, built-to-last.
This looks exactly like a REAL padlock should look - chunky, shiny and robust.Very easy to operate, and like all good locks you have to lock it closed, so there is no chance of accidentally leaving it unlocked. It also has a slide-down cover to prevent water getting in.Admittedly it is not a "grade 10" rating, but for the money it is excellent and will provide more than adequate protection for our inner side garden gate.

Beyond excellent for outdoor use
Went through three 'outdoor' rated locks that rusted up solid on my storage unit. Nothing worse than being in the rain or snow trying to get into storage when the lock won't move. Then I remembered the brass locking mechanism of my Grandad's old Henry Squire.Super happy to find these still being made. Bought the 660 for our storage locker and it's been spectacular. Three years of crummy Maine winters and wet springs / falls, and it opens and locks like I purchased it last week.Others will harp on 'oh it's not that secure'. And to a certain extent, yes, it's nowhere near as complex as a high security lock. But, it's on a storage unit with a tin door - I'm pretty sure I could put a $200 lock on that and anyone with a sledgehammer could just bash the door in.It's burly, beefy, stands up to Maine winters without fail, and is a great deterrent. Just bought another one.

soddisfatto con un ma...
Davvero ben fatto, solido e resistente.
