Works just as well as a pair of headphones.
I have taken a preference for single earbuds because they don't drown the noises around you like headphones do.

It's great for the price
Unfortunately you're looking for a more niche product where it only has 1 ear bud and isn't Bluetooth. Since all the good companies are moving past corded ear buds and it's only the 1, options are slim.So you're going to need to get a cheaper product like this. Which unfortunately means sacrifices. Normally this would mean I need to take away stars. But if you go in knowing it's a cheaper ear bud and you have fewer options, it's pretty decent. Not as much bass as I would want. And I've never used it for calls.But for the price the sound is pretty good. I have bigger ears and never have an issue with getting it to loop around comfortably. It comes with the little case to help protect it. Sits comfortably in the ear. Over all if you need one of these products, I would say this is a pretty good pick.

Makes the audio better for calling or communicating when working with retail price tag scanners
It's a simple design but very effective, still using this after over a year. Just make sure you take care of your equipment and it will last way longer than you expect.

Not a particularly good product in my opinion.
It won't stay on unless I constantly press the volume key. Not happy with it at all. All it does is buzz unless I press the volume or answer key. Airplane headphones work better.

comfortable, decent quality, case included
I had previously ordered a different one-bud headset that AMZ recommended, but the cord was so short and the cord spiral so tight that the cable broke almost immediately where it connected to the plug. The wires inside were infinitesimal - not a good sign. This single-bud set seems sturdier than the last one I tried, and the sound quality is decent, maybe not stellar, but good enough. I really like the over ear loop which is comfortable and prevents the bud from slipping out. The case is a nice bonus. I'd recommend this one over the one AMZ recommends.
