Great keyboard, fantastic DAW integration
This is a fantastic keyboard for the price. I wanted it to replace my (broken) M-audio midi keyboard and it does the job perfectly. If you are making electronic music you won't have a problem with how the keys feel. I use Bitwig Studio (my keyboard came with a license for Bitwig 8 track but I already had the full version - the 8 track version is great if you don't have a full DAW yet and just want to mess around) and the DAW integration is fantastic. Quite literally plug and play. It came with instructions on how to install drivers etc but none of that was necessary. Simply open up a drum machine VST in your daw, drag your drum samples into it and the appropriate drum pads will light up and you can start tapping out a beat. Open up the mixer in your daw and the volume sliders on the keyboard will automatically adjust the appropriate channel. It really is that easy. It's all very intuitive and simple to use. Although I use Bitwig mostly I have also tested it with FL studio and it works flawlessly there too. This keyboard has hugely improved my workflow as I can control a lot of the DAW without reaching for the mouse and keyboard.Overall 10/10 - great value for money. Does everything I needed and more.PS. I gave this 5 stars for thickness as I'm smashing out some thicc basslines. I also gave it 5 stars for Sheerness even though I have no idea what that means in this context :)

Poor quality control but well worth the money
Came with a key popped out couldn't be bothered sending it back so checked it out made sure wasn't broken made sure it was all working opened it up sorted the key out works fine for the money a really good controller yes the keyboard is well the money your paying but good enough was using a korgkontrol that just became old and unreasonable in its behaviour. So this keyboard controller is a good bit of kit playing fancy piano parts no but banging out trance techo yes pads are very good as are the pots and slides. I use reason and it integrates seemless very happy after repairing easy enough but quality control needs a kick in the ass. Five stars for function 3 stars for quility control. You get one keys popped out check it's working check keys aren't broken open up and rest keys if you can't be bothered with the return

DAW integration a time saver
Product arrived in good order and good time. The midi keyboard integrates well with my DAW (garageband). 61 keys is perfect enough to give a good octave range. The keys are as responsive as expected and are velocity sensitive which works well. The sliders work well and as stated when integrated with your DAW are very handy giving you ease of workload. For the price of this midi keyboard, it is very good value and comparable with more expensive devices.

Good value and feels sturdy
This keyboard does seem to be a good price for a MIDI keyboard to start off with. I will say that I had an issue where one key wasn't pressing as some glue had leaked under the key - this could have been avoided and I'm a bit annoyed that the quality control didn't pick it up as all they had to do was test the key once. I was able to fix this myself, but I'm knocking a star off the rating for the inconvenience. The keys do have more power when pressed harder, I'd say that I feel I have to press them harder than I'd expect to get the full volume out of each one - I'm not not used to that sort of control so I find myself occasionally doing very quiet presses on some. I haven't figured out how to map some of the functions on this keyboard to my software just yet as I don't think it's one they support out the box - I'd advise checking on what they support unless you know how to map them yourself. If you're looking to use this with Synthesia, it works straight away. It's still early for me to provide as much detail as I'd like here, but from what I've seen so far I'd say this seems like a good place to start for little cost.

Brilliant value controller keyboard which works amazingly with Reaper.
I bought this to play virtual instruments and record in Reaper DAW. I cannot complain, it has surpassed expectations!! The integration with Reaper is brilliant and it's easy to control key features out of the box once you install the Reaper compatibility software. One of the best things about this board is its ability to learn assignments with many VSTs. You literally hold the shift key down and manipulate the controls you want to assign with your mouse, then turn or press the controller button, knob or wheel you want to assign them to in the same order. You then save by holding down the shift key. I haven't yet run out of save slots and the keyboard remembers the setups for the next time I bring them up in Reaper.Note, this quick learn feature doesn't work with all virtual instruments, and in those cases, I'll be looking into cc assignments etc.It also has quick setup options, like the ability to reverse the sliders for organ drawbar operation.I'm still learning the limits but so far it is an excellent board. It has the usual transpose and octave buttons easily accessible and the pitch and mod wheels work perfectly. It has a light, springy action. I think most would call it synth action. It is powered by the USB connection, which also handles the MIDI data. NOTE, this DOES NOT have hardwired MIDI sockets, everything works through USB.Easy payment in 5 instalments through Amazon too. What's not to like?
