Absolute beast of a mouthguard. Worth 2 times as much
The media could not be loaded. I started boxing and with all of the other stuff I needed getting a dentist fitted mouthguard wasn’t in the budget. I read a lot of reviews and gave this one a shot. If you follow the directions you will get something right at or a notch below dentist fitted.Pro’s: using the kit I was able to get a mouth guard that I have to pull out with my fingers. It will not come out on its own. I’ve been punched in the mouth a few times and didn’t feel anything as far as my teeth are concerned. The directions were straight forward and the mouthguard fits great. Only took one boxing session to get it to the point where it was comfortable and unnoticeable to wear.Cons: there was a sharp corner on the inside upper of my mouth. I was able to gently sand it with a dremel tool and make it disappear. I would consider that finish work and something that may need to be done with any mouthguard. It was uncomfortable the first time I wore it, but after that it’s been something I don’t even notice once it’s in place. Conclusion and notes: one thing I did when it was molding in my mouth is to push inwards onto the mouth guard and assist the tray system in applying pressure inwards to get a precision fit. I haven’t don’t this without that technique, so I can’t say if that aided in the tight fit I got or if it made no difference. It was actually such a tight fit at first I thought it was stuck in my mouth until I figured out which direction to pull to remove it. After using this a couple times, I’ve scrapped future plans of getting a dentist fitted mouthguard and will be buying another of these when the time comes. If you don’t chew on your mouth guards, I’d expect this to last a year or more.

Wow. Like a professional guard from 10 years ago.
Used to do a lot of BJJ and MMA training. Used a number of boil and bites and two different professional mouthguards. I’ve always been a huge proponent of getting a pro guard as fit and comfort are categorically different.I didn’t remember my mouth guard one trip and preferred this so I’d have something: the fit is almost as a good as a professional guard. Boiling plastic on your gums isn’t the most fun, but it was very worth it. Very impressed with this guard and it’s what I’d recommend to anyone not ready or needing a professional guard rn.

Not bad but follow all directions fully
It's a really nice mouth gaurd, but I did mess mine up a bit, and was not aware to let it sit over night to fully mold and harden back up, so now It's a little lose on the front teeth

The fit is amazing
I'm actually voice texting with this thing in my mouth that's how well it fits. I guess it would be a downside if you're hoping to click it out of your mouth with your tongue to walk around looking like Steph Curry or one of those goofballs who has a mouth guard but doesn't really wear it... just looking cool with some clever display of mouth guard.... because once it's on your teeth it will stay in your mouth. No punch will knock it out.. I have to pull it off my teeth with my fingers. The level of comfort is unparalleled. Biting down you can feel the spongy material but it fits perfect on your teeth.. it actually snapps into place on your teeth. I honestly wasn't sure how this cage thing and all this fitting was going to work. I watched the video followed the directions and the fit is perfect. Once again I am voice texting with this thing in my mouth.. cant say enough.. there are some after pictures. I wish I would have taken before pictures so you can see the fins as they were in place I would have never guessed this would have molded this well. You can really see the indentures from my teeth

Terrible fit/nothing custom about this
Followed the instructions perfectly and watched the video with the QR code given on the box and first terrible. Definitely not wearing this to class and I’ll just get a custom one made instead of risking dental work.

Just get a custom guard
I want so badly to love this mouth guard. The unique boil and bite tray is great in theory but I’ve now gotten 2 of these, followed the directions to a tee and ended up with an uncomfortable end fit that’s still not perfectly molded to my teeth but so tight that those imperfections are really noticeable and uncomfortable. With a regular boil and bite, the fit isn’t perfect but there’s enough space that you can get a fit that won’t come out on its own but still is comfortable. These OPRO guards are too tight fitting to be forgiving of those tiny imperfections and without a true mold of your teeth, there’s no way to get that perfect fit reliably. You also only get one try at it, other boil and bite guards can be re boiled and adjusted but these are a one shot thing, a second boil will ruin it. Lastly the edges, particularly around the center line are rough, this guard is for jiu jitsu where my lips get smashed into the guard often and those rough edges feel sharp just wearing it. I’m not confident enough in it to wear it for its intended purpose. I thought maybe the first time I just made a mistake somewhere along the way but the second attempt didn’t head any better results. If I had it to do over again, I’d either stick with a standard boil and bite or I’d spend the money to have a real custom guard made. I wouldn’t recommend these as a good option, the mix between custom like tightness and the imperfect nature of a boil and bite fit isn’t a good combination.
