Best possession film since the Exorcist.

Well that was a rollercoaster. Some thai/asian horror movies can be hit/miss, like some end up being more folklore drama's rather than creepy horrors.At first this felt like the former, but quickly turned into a quite a tight and well done creepy horror! Some very good creepy moments, lots of lore, acting was really good.Production really good too, the creepy moments looked great.Only downside is, this movie is 2 hours long, that's a long horror movie. It never really felt like it dragged though, but 2 hours is long for a horror.The ending is bonkers, I still don't know what happened. Definitely recommend though but beware it's a long one.

One common theme among loads of horror movies is that they start looking as if they are going some experimental places, and they end up being the same old thing. And this is one of those cases, where a very very long set up is there for just having a shaky cam "found footage" feast in the end that we have all seen many times already.It's competent, but meh.

I had heard some very positive reviews of this film and I must say I'm disappointed greatly. I also found aspects of the film extremely unethical such as dog meat and the mentioning of the trade in this film and also the killing and cooking of one of the protagonists beautiful white bichon dogs (not real I know but not acceptable or necessary in the story. This is aborant morally and ethically and viewers should be informed of this aspect of the film so they can choose whether to watch or not via this review). "Heavenly Dog Meat" (the family shop) is an Oxymoron! Even the metion of dog meat can upset viewers understandably. The second issue I have is a scene involving children in a soft play creche near the start of the film, Mink (lead female) pushes, extremely violently, two toddler children into a wall. They actually slam hard off the wall and you can see they're genuinely shocked and afraid of what this woman is doing to them and the second child authentically begins to cry. This is not acceptable either! The actress was out of order with her use of force on such small children and my heart just broke for them. If I was their mum I would have gone beserk at her!Honestly, the film was shot well, the acting is good but the story is a Thai version of any western posession film as you would not be missing much if you gave it a side step especially if you feel the ethical of this film would upset/anger. Disappointing. Not for me especially as a dog loving Vegan!

Le film fait peur, certaines scènes sont très viscérales et prenantes. Cependant, le format found footage est totalement sous exploité voire inutile.

Bien reçu en temps et en heure , le colis est nickel . Rien à dire vendeur au top !

Lange ist es her, seit mir ein Horrorfilm richtig gut gefallen hat. The Medium ist endlich wieder so ein Film! Vom Stil her an die ersten R.E.C.-Teile angelehnt, mit guten Schauspielern, steigender Spannung, dem ein oder anderen gut platzierten Jump-Scare sowie mit Szenen, die schon sehr unangenehm sind. FSK-16 Freigabe ist schon sehr gewagt.Auf der technischen Seite zeigt die BluRay ein gutes Bild mit gewollten stilistischem Rauschen, das aber zum Film passt.Tontechnisch gibt es eine gute HD- 5.1. Tonspur, die schön räumlich ist und beim Score auch mal das Sofa zum Vibrieren bringt. Stimmen sind immer gut verständlich & Dynamik vorhanden, wenn sie gebraucht wird.Auch die deutsche Synchronisation ist gut gelungen
