Too hot to handle (for longer)
For years I was using the standard, cloth oven gloves. I was annoyed they get discoloured and dirty so I thought of replacing them with this silicone pair. First of all they are quite stiff, more so than expected and probably more so than the photos may lead you to think. Secondly I was unpleasantly surprised how quickly the fingers in them went from ok to way too hot. Cloth gloves never have that problem unless the padding is torn or failing in some way. So am I still using the silicone ones? Well, yes. Sometimes having 5 fingers is actually quite useful, but my old fashioned oven gloves are still here. They are unbeatable when you need to hold something really hot for that little bit longer and the longer cuffs offer more protection

very good heat protection
These give great protection from oven heat. They are better than any oven glove I have ever used. I find I can lift hot trays from the oven and hold them for long enough to stir the food. I also love orange :) They are very stiff, so although there are five fingers, you don't have your usual dexterity, and one of my saucepan lids was impossible to lift while wearing these. They lasted from December 2017 to July 2020 with almost daily use. They got a tiny hole between the thumb and index finger (pictured), but I am replacing them with more of the same. It would be good if they could be made from biodegradable materials.

Good product - does keep the heat away
Good product - does keep the heat away. Easy to wash. Only small snag I have is they are quite firm plastic so a bit tricky to bend your hands and fingers - but that maybe lessens the heat protectoion if too thin a plastic. Otherwise a big imorvement on the cloth ones we had that picked up all the muck etc you get when cooking.

Absolutely fabulous! Strong, completely heat resistant
These are absolutely fantastic. I already had silicone oven mitts, but these provide such a better experience. Because they're proper gloves rather than mits they have a lot more flexibility/freedom of movement. Meaning you can leave them on to serve and avoid any scolding accidents. Very easy to clean too. I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for oven gloves. They're completely heat resistant. They don't even feel hot to the touch after use.

I thought great I will get the kids some
When I received these gloves, I thought great I will get the kids some. So I ordered 3 more packs. However two days later I used them for the first time and I could feel the heat coming through. So I went back to my usual oven gloves and plan to return these.

Cool as a cucumber
Amazing, protect hands better than a traditional oven glove. Keeps cooler longer.Anyone who states that they get hot are obviously holding the oven tin or whatever way too long and if they did the same with a traditional oven glove they would surely get burned!

Good gloves does transfer heat through eventually but does the job well.

Not to my liking
I so wanted to like these but I have large hands and without any lining they were a) difficult to get on and b) felt wierd on as I felt like I had webbed hands
