For easy a less messy seed and small cutting propagation, rockwool is the best....bit it has always been expensive from even the online nursery supply stores. It never occurred to me that Amazon might be a source for it.This kit also supplies appropriately sized little pots to go with the blocks of rockwool. PERFECT to start using immediately.

I got these to use with my hydroponics setup and they have worked great for me. They are a little hard to get apart and messy, but if you just use scissors over the trash can it inst too bad. They worked really well for starting my lettuce sprouts and have held up really nicely while the plants are growing. The little plastic cups that the rock wool slip into don't feel quite as nice as some others that I have bought before but they definitely work!!

I read reviews for weeks and I mean weeks went back n forth ig I should buy em. I read the reviews again a picture showing one of these in a small mouth Mason jar... they fall right through. Such a disapointment
