Be aware that this is Allegory's (ULTRA BLACK) not to be mistaken with the standard Allegory (BLACK). Although you can line with this (Ultra), it is formulated with a thicker pigment load for black packing/saturation. If you wanted something for lining and shading/greywash mixing I'd go with the regular Allegory Black. I use both for what they are meant for.

After using Allegory's regular blak, I had to purchase this ULTRA Blak, and it has not disappointed. This is my go to for lining. It has a nice bold deep black look that holds up really well. I don't plan on changing my black ink anytime soon. The ink's consistency is nice and isn't too thick as well which is great. I recommend this ink to anyone looking to try a new black ink especially for lining.

I love regular allegory ink, that’s all I use the first two years I tattooed. I’ve been using dynamic double black. This stuff is better, saturates with ease. Heals very smooth.

This ink is amazing! On top of that we me and my friend compared it to Dynamic ink which dynamic ink was contaminated with some heavy metals and toxic living microbes. How ever Allegory ink passed the test! No bacteria 🦠 no garbage ingredients, very nice ink. Also when working with this ink it’s very very dark! Will defiantly buy again
