Low Profile Shower Drain, 1.5" Side Outlet Drain Assembly with Perforated Strainer, for 1.5" or 2" Replacement Shower Base PVC Side Outlet Drain

We purchased this drain to use in our recent bathroom remodel and it worked perfectly for our needs. We bought a very low threshold shower pan and had absolutely no room below for standard plumbing when moving the drain down. Our drain sits right above one of the joists in our garage and the builders had already notched it out when installing the original bathtub in the 70’s. This was the second low profile drain that we purchased, this one worked better because of the flat bottom.It would be nice if you had the option of decorative grates.

Low profile, raised the floor (dry pour 3") and it fits perfectly. Even cheated by connecting it with a universal radiator hose! Set!!!

Does what I need it to do. Fit the drain into a tight turn. Downside; cheap plastic drain cover. Wish it were metal.

OMG I am so relieved that I found this product to drain a shower with a joist in the way. It paired perfectly with a flexible 1.5 OD tubing that I found on Amazon and my draining headaches were a thing of the past. Sure it's pricey but it's exactly what I needed!
