SO glad to find this replacement cable
The Nikon P500 is a very good camera, with one very serious drawback. The connection from the camera to the PC is proprietary, so if you lose your cable, you're hosed (so to speak). We recently went on an epic cross-country road trip and had TONS of photos...with no way to put them on the computer. AMAZON to the rescue!!Seriously it is exactly like the original cable and I am so happy I was able to get it.
