I bought this bed after research and looking at customer reviews, this is also one of the cheaper versions of this type of bed. Yesterday I put it together. I am a tradesman and I can tell you that I cannot fault this bed, the putting together was easy, in fact easier than similar beds I have done before, plus this one came with a decent base cover that actually fastened to the base with velcro! I had it together in 2hours on my own!I am very pleased with this product and can highly recommend it for value for money and a very satisfactory finish.

I got these beds in the 3ft and 4ft for my sons, they love them. Go together really easy, myself and my older son put them together really fast. Just watch what way you put the frame on as holes need to be a certain parts for bits later on.

Fantastic bed, I'm glad I got it. Lots of room underneath for clothes and boxes for storage.

My (adult) son put this together on his own, and it looks great. the pistons won't work until the mattress is on, and they ease with use. I'm really happy with this bed. My spare room looks fab now (I know it needs repainting!).

I purchased this (double) for my 11 year old. I'm general I have been really impressed, the bed comes in 2 boxes with some of the parts concealed in the headboard (behind the zip). The bed construction is a steel frame with ply and fabric covering. I was really impressed that all the holes in the fabric line up with the steel frame.Assembly is nuts bolts and washers for the frame, the lifting mechanism is already assembled accept for connecting one end of the gas rod. The slats push into plastic holders which then press into the steel frame, they seem quite study.So I don't have any problems assembling these things normally however 2 issues I had was: - The corner brackets are bit quite bent to 90 degrees which means when bolted to the bed they are at a slight angle. Probably doesn't really matter but annoying. I had to bend mine properly in a vice and they are really hard to bend (shows how strong the bed is), I also had a problem getting the gas pistons to go down but contacted the seller and they told me to use even force. It does take some force to do this the first few times. If the mattress was heavier that might help. It lifts easily but my 11 year old cannot push it down at the moment.

It's straight forward to assemble , but there are times when 2 people are needed i.e. the whole thing needs to be up-ended at one point. Also, mine has developed a squeak. It's likely to be a case of retightening the bolts, but that means emptying it out , what a pain.

Easy no fuss delivery with time slot. Easy assemble, looks good, quality good for price. My daughter is very happy with it.
