Bought this cable as part of an 'emergency hook-up' between my 8KW generator and my household 220 Volt circuitry. Anytime there's an extended power outage, I open the main breaker to the house, then start my generator and plug in both ends of the cable. Eventually, when I see my neighbors lights finally come back on, I unplug this cable, shut down the generator, and close-in the main breaker to get back to 'normal'. This cable never even gets warm under full load - it's exactly right for my application.

Very soft flexible cable. I cut it into two lengths. One runs from my panel to my garage inlet. I made an extension from the remainder so the generator can sit outside the garage in total I have a 75' run. The generator is a Westinghouse WH6500E. It powers the fridge, two furnace fans (gas furnaces), and plenty of lighting. After a ten minute load test the cable was cool. (i wasn't really expecting it to get warm).

Made this into a custom power delivery cord for my amateur radio equipment that can double as jumper cables if needed. Lives in a nice Bucket Boss 06009 Jumper Cable Bag behind the seat of my truck.
