Tatsuki Fujimoto Before Chainsaw Man: 22-26 : Fujimoto, Tatsuki, Haley, Amanda, Kirsch, Alexis, Heep, Sabrina, Robinson, Julian: desertcart.in: Books Review: As a fan of Fujimoto - I have been enjoying his work lately. Let me tell you his work is by far one of the best manga artist around the world due to unique story telling and art style. You should give a try of his work one day! Review: Awesometacular, as expected - Alright, I read 17 - 21 before this, loved it, I felt it was necessary to read this one too as soon as I finished it, and yes, Fujimoto sensei never fails to amaze me, great stories, out of the 4 the 3rd story was my favourite, it was gruesome, grim yet so wholesome, nothing beats the love of a older brother for his younger devilish sister. The first story was decent with a simple plot with lovely characters, the panels were breathtaking, never viewed mermaid the same ways before. The 2nd story was also a great read, it reminded me of the story Sasaki stopped a bullet from previous volume, but the entirety of the story was different with really cool & twisted ( bent ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ) ending, the last story felt mediocre, don't know maybe I was expecting some supernatural stuff, but as a slice of life story, it's decent, pretty nice tbh, this one made me feel Fujimoto sensei trying to make a normal story. Overall had a great time reading all of em, as usual loved the world they were set it. Authors note between those chapters & the Afterword confession at the end was great to find out.

An absolute treat for fans of Chainsaw Man and those curious to see the early works of this groundbreaking creator. These stories showcase Tatsuki Fujimoto’s distinctive style and storytelling approach, filled with the raw, emotional, and sometimes surreal qualities that he later perfected in Chainsaw Man. Wild creativity, unfiltered imagination, and dark humor keeps you engaged from start to finish. The artwork is rough yet captivating, perfectly fitting the tone and themes of his early work. His ability to blend absurdity with real human emotions is truly compelling, and it’s fascinating to see how his unique style evolved over the years. Whether you’re a longtime fan or new to his work, this collection is a must-read. It’s inspiring to see the seeds of Fujimoto’s genius on full display here, and it serves as a testament to his growth as a manga artist. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to dive deeper into one of manga’s most original voices!

Interesting read, and you can really see some ideas that later get reused in his newer works.

I'm a big fan of Chainsaw Man, so I had to buy his other books and honestly this did not disappoint. It's only 4 short stories but they show how good of a story teller Fujimoto is! I felt that the last story was the weakest but still good nonetheless. Also, the stories feel very diverse in nature, covering anywhere from serious and adult themes all the way to funny and lighthearted. Glad I bought it, it's the type of book I'd casually pick of the shelf and read through more than once!

These stories are great and very Fujimoto. I like how before each story there is a small blurb from him about why he wrote it.
