Great buy!! Size was perfect and heat distribution was as promoted. It’s a sturdy pot with some weight to it. Easy to clean and scratch resistant. Highly recommend.

Functionality and performance.
This is a special Caldero used in Puerto Rican cultures for making white rice and among other dishes. Love it and the size is just right for me.

Cooked Like a Pro, Cleaned Like a Dream
This caldero is massive like “invite the whole neighborhood” big. It’s sturdy, cooks like a champ, and somehow still easy to clean, even after my "accidental burnt rice experiment." Sure, the metal’s not as thick as I was hoping for, but for the price? It’s a flavorful bargain. Just don’t try to deep-fry a whole cow in it.
