Safer Brand 5452 3-in-1 32-Ounce Ready-to-Use Garden Spray - 5452-6

I ordered this to control a powdery fungus on my pumpkin vines. I ended up losing the pumpkins--as the label says, the spray can prevent fungus but it can't really reverse the damage already done. It was too late for my pumpkins, but I've been using it on cucumbers (which started to show the same signs of the mold that attacked my pumpkins and had the same bugs that ate my zucchini. The spray works great! I apply it about twice a week and it has controlled fungus and bugs. The bottle says you can apply it up to a day before harvest, and I'm hoping it's a good safe, organic alternative to other treatments. Dishsoap and water worked only OK at controlling bugs, but I had to have something to control the mold--otherwise the plants would die). So if you MUST use something, I think this is a good product. It has also worked very well on my roses, which had some sort of black fungus last year but that are doing well this year with treatment--they're blooming for the third time (October in Virginia). The smell of the spray is a little peculiar, but overall I am happy with the product and will use it again for sure. It was also very well packaged with no chance of spilling during shipping.

I used this to control aphids, scale bugs, mealybugs, and spider mites on orchids, peppers, and house plants. It also worked very well to control fungus on potted rose plants. The only problem was the spray bottle it came in, which stopped functioning within a short time, making it necessary to transfer the product to another bottle.

Edit:Please fix the spray bottle.The bottle stops working when still about 1/4 full. I have around 1/2 of product left with all of my bottles combined, and you can't get the nozzle unscrewed to even pour the product into a different spray bottle...This is the best formula I've found for stopping infestations after they've already occured, but unfortunately the spray bottles are defective and there's no way to even transfer the liquid to something else. Really frustrating.______________I use this on all of my new plants and again about once a month(or Neem).Also used it to treat a minor spider mite infestation on a palm and it worked very quickly.Doesn't burn leaves or anything. All of my plants are great and big free.I just spray from stem to leaves(top and bottom) until plants are drenched.Would definitely recommend. My only complaint is that now I'm 3/4 though the bottle, and the nozzle isn't working anymore. Giving me major carpal tunnel lol. Going to just pour it into a different spray bottle.

Purchased this item several times. Seems there is a problem with sprayer. All bottles purchased through Amazon had the same issue. Sprayer stopped working after one use and while bottle was almost full. Just last week purchased a few bottles and all had the same issue. Enough for me. Will be looking for another brand even though, this brand works very well. It is a shame!

Easy to use and it kills bugs and I got the results immediately before my plant dies

We had a big problem with bugs eating our chard and beet greens. When we sprayed the base of the plant with this product, no more bugs!! The only problem with this product is that after one or two uses, the sprayer quits working and we had to pour the product, rather than spray it.

Asked a plant nerd how to take care of the tiny tiny bugs on my palm tree and my trumpet flower. Was scared a product would harm the plants. Nope. This stuff has kept the bugs at bay and my plants happy! I’m pretty sure my plants would be dead and eaten by now without this stuff. I transferred this stuff to a cuter bottle that i keep near the plants that has a better nozzle. Very effective. Plants are very happy. Grateful. (Don’t forget to spray the soil too bc the eggs of the bugs apparently hang out there too?)

I used this on all my young vegetable plants in the spring. I always have problems with tomato fungus type disease, and with squash bugs. This year I saw no squashbugs, and no eggs on any of the squash plants. The vines and plants stayed healthy and productive all season. They also did not develop powdery mildew until late in the season. Usually that strikes around midsummer. I assume this spray may have kept away the bugs and the mildew.I don’t think it helped the tomatoes. We had a wet rainy summer which hurt the tomatoes no matter I did.
