Another EXCELLENT knife from Eafengrow! I own man different Eafengrow knifes and they are in my opinion definitely the best bang for your buck! The overall look is amazing and it feels like a quality knife. The G10 grips have sleek designs and feel great in your hands. The DC53 blade is very robust and feels very durable. The full tang and ergonomic grip really make this knife feel indestructible. The kydex sheath has the perfect amount of retention making it easy to deploy the knife and feels super secure. This is another great knife from Eafengrow and will go nicely into the collection. I highly recommend this knife to anyone needing an EDC, hunting/ camping knife, or even just adding to the collection.

The knife is well designed and well made. It is heavier than I expected. My problem was the sheath was too tight. I struggled to get the knife out of the sheath without cutting off my finger. Once the knife was out of the sheath I toasted the top of the sheath for 10 seconds about 6 inches above the open flame of a kitchen gas stove. I turned the sheath over and toasted the other side. (Be gentle, be careful, because Kydex melts quickly.) I put the knife into the lightly toasted sheath and moved it to loosen things up. The sheath cooled quickly. The knife can now be removed from the sheath with a sharp tug. It wont fall out. It must be pulled out. This was a quick fix for an annoying problem.

Bought this knife for general purpose yard work. Solid knife and fits well in the hand. However, only half the cutting end came sharp out of the box. Nothing a few minutes of sharpening couldn't fix, but felt it was worth noting. Also, the sheath fit is ok at best. It is held in quite well so it won't fall out, but it does rattle quite a bit. Again, nothing a few minutes with a heat gun won't fix, but based on my past Eafengrow purchases, I was expecting the fit to be snug and rattle-free. Overall, with a little bit of initial elbow grease, this knife is solid and is a sleek beast. If I could give it 4.5/5, I would, but alas, I can't. If you need a large all-purpose knife, I recommend it. Just be aware it may not be perfect out of the box. Regardless, still well worth the money.

My new favorite fixed blade! Really, really nice knife for the price. It's bigger and heavier than I expected, very solid and extremely sharp. I'd consider it the perfect survival knife. You simply won't find a better knife for this price. If you're even thinking of buying one, just do it! You won't be sorry.

Monster of a knife! It feels great in the hand and comes with a nice working edge. I really like the supplied belt clip.

Excellent quality fits my large to XL hands good. Very sharp and stays sharp great combat style blade and design they did a great job. Sheath is thick and tight no rattle. Just remember this isn't a knife for delicate work it's a fighting knife and great for the woods as protection .5 stars

For those looking for strength, good edge retention and maneuverability this is the knife you need. I did my own tests on hardwood and it kept its cut even after putting a 2" log diameter in filaments. For those who have quite hard work to do, this is the one you need. It also has an ergonomic handle which adapts well. The disadvantages that I found on this knife are; The place where a strap is placed is sharp on the interior edges so that when you put a strap there, it gets cut. Watch to file the edges a little. Then, as you can see in the photos, there are stains on each side of the blade. When I took the knife out of the box it didn't appear, they appeared when I wiped off the excess oil. I tried to remove them but So far I haven't been able to get it done. I don't know if I should return it in case it's a manufacturing defect. Basically, if you don't mind the stains too much and want a pretty serious knife, I recommend it.
