I bought this to make my wife a anerversay gift in leather. Its a basic but full kit. I did snap all the needles but it's a good kit for someone just starting or having some fun. Worth the money. Remember this is a basic kit. I'm sure experts would find many issues.

The hook awl appears to be a reject or sub standard, the handle is to small for the metal ring, the ring is sharp and could cause injury. The lacquer applied over glue on the handle and/ or is blistered. Other 13 items appear to be OK and are good value. A better quality hook awl is required to complete the set and make it value for money.

Small handles I would say toy if they weren't sharp

I already used it to bookbinding.

Im enjoying using these for my craft works they are good quality and easy to use.

The set has everything in it to be able to work with leather. Not heavy duty work but repair.
