Wonderful Christmas Pudding! As Good as my Mothers!
I had to wait until Christmas to write a review. I followed the instructions, and steamed the pudding in its container for just over two hours. I turned it out onto a plate and doused it is brandy and then set fire to it in the traditional way. It was absolutely splendid!! Then I served it up with homemade brandy butter, and it was totally delicious. Everybody loved it. One of my favourite British Christmas treats, and I will certainly get another one for this year. Totally authentic and packed with succulent dried fruits. Thank you so much for offering this!! A++++

Review of A Christmas Pudding
This Christmas pudding was pretty good and I will probably buy one every Christmas season. This is the my first time trying and was pleasantly surprised how delicious this was, very fruity, rich and could taste the rum. it comes out good from the microwave verses steaming it for a couple hours.Give it a try as I will purchase again

Excellent, if only you could have more LOL
Traditionally pleasing, evoking the best memories of a Xmas dessert. The size was fine, I long for the days of Marshall Fields puddings that came in two (2) sizes of earthen ware pots. This was about the size of their smaller one - which I've had a few of, but we usually purchased the larger which was better for a dinner table and made hiding the coin easier. Plus, those ceramic pots were keepers that are excellent to reuse over and over. We take things like that for granted, but miss them dearly in today's world of plastic

Yummy!
This pudding is delicious, and it has become a staple in our home for celebrations around the holidays. It is rich and looks fancy! I serve it with a cream brandy sauce. I highly recommend that you splurge on it even though it is a bit pricey.

Excellent - the tradition continues
My mother used to make a plum pudding each year for desert after Christmas dinner. After she passed the tradition passed to my sister. As she aged she stoppe making them. I thought I would try to restart the tradition. This plum pudding was excellent, and was actually the best I had ever tasted!

Product was unsealed rendering it bad
Was not able to serve this for Christmas since the sealed edge was broke. I purchased 2 so thankfully I have one to serve.

Monster Christmas puds..... almost 1kg each, and there are two of them! Currently on for an excellent price for the pair, I was expecting them to be nearing their 'best before' date - but the BB date on these is April 2019. I usually make my own Christmas puds as they're far nicer than shop bought, but home made take hours and hours to steam and now I've run out of time if the puds are going to be able to mature. So I looked online. What attracted me to this particular make were the very positive reviews from other purchasers, and the ingredients in the puds - plenty of fruit, nuts and booze. When they arrived, I did undo one and had a little peek, - they're beautifully presented in a plastic bowl with a shrink seal lid, well wrapped and only need to be heated up, either steamed for a couple of hours or two minutes in a microwave. Having opened one, I took a teaspoon and dug out a little taster... Delish. Very rich, fruity and dark, with a gorgeous Xmas pud fragrance, succulent and although not over boozy, I can taste there's been a bit of booze added. These are luxury puds. The description is accurate. All I've done with these is to spike a few little punctures in them, added a tablespoonful of brandy to each one to soak in, replaced the seal top with clingfilm and now I'm going to leave them until Christmas. Then when I serve them up, I'm just going to smile benignly when everyone says how fab my home made Xmas puds are, and where on earth do I find the time. If I don't get found out and strung up for a liar, I'll be back to update. In the meantime, if these are still on for around sixteen quid for this pair of brazen beauties, grab them, quick. You don't need to add any extra booze. I only did because I'm clearly a very bad Maggie.

These were surprisingly tasty. I hate Christmas fruit cakes, and generally things with nuts in them. Raisins and candied, dried fruits are terrible unnatural things that were obviously made by something quite evil. However these were nice, the nuts inside them added a delicious crunch and they were bursting with flavour from start to finish. People can look down on Christmas puddings that you microwave, but honestly these ones were great, especially compared to ones I've been forced to eat previously. It recalls fond memories of when a distant relative brought round what I can only describe as a rock with a burnt bread covering that they'd been maturing for a few years in their pantry, that I can honestly say I'm probably still digesting now, and that was what, six years ago? Don't let terrifying Christmas puddings happen to you. Buy this one instead. You'll thank me, really. Everyone seemed to like it, and I hate stuff like this but I still ate it pretty quickly. Tasted nice. Somehow. Oh and you also get two of them, which is good for the price (unless you like subjecting your family to the horror of eating a pudding that cost you like £2) and also means you can give one away to your best friends or favoured family, so that's nice. Anyway good Christmas pudding. You can't go wrong. In all honestly, I'll probably buy it again.

Really loved this pudding! We were travelling from Australia to have Christmas in the UK and this was a great easy option that really stood up to the homemade puddings I've previously had. Great quality. Very enjoyable. We didn't have space in the kitchen to steam it, so heated in the microwave and it was just as good. Definitely recommend.
