Great toy
The media could not be loaded. Bought one of these three years ago and strung it across the backyard between two trees for the grandchildren to play on. I take it down in the winter and reinstall each spring. Installation not particularly easy but fairly straightforward. Had to do some retrofitting to protect the anchor trees with wood cleats where the cable contacts the trunks. Don’t even try to install without a come-along. You’ll never get the cable tight enough and the rider will be hitting the ground at the sag in the middle.

Great for the kids...easy to set up
Much easier to set up if you use a chain between the two cables. Someone mentioned using a ratchet strap to set the tension which made this a one person job. I was able to pull the ratchet strap tight to get the cable air born. I had enough strap to hook to one end of cable and the tree. Tightened as much as a I could then use chain to attach long cable to turn buckle and the other end to the loop on the tree. Once I had the closest chain link, I tightened the turnbuckle enough to release the ratchet strap then tightened the rest of the way with the turn buckle. Took about two hours with one person. The right ladder sizes and just spent a little extra on some chain on my trees were a little too far apart.

We LOVE it!!
The only thing we wish is that we would have purchased this sooner! It wasn’t hard to find a tree big enough to attach it to and measure for the correct length. My husband said it was super easy to install. Had it done in under an hour. Our kids love it-9yo and 5yo. Heck, our adult friends love it too! It isn’t so fast that a little one would be scared but fast enough to be fun for everyone. We are ready for a longer one now. I’m so glad that we got one with a spring break-I don’t have to worry about little ones being able to stop. We haven’t built a landing pad yet so someone pulls the string down and the kids just hop off.

Super fun and well-made, but definitely not easy to set up
First of all, let me say that my kids LOVE this zipline and I'm so glad we bought it. We installed it at our mountain cabin in a Ponderosa pine forest. The four cousins (ages 7, 5, 4, and 2) played on it for HOURS non-stop. Although I'm sure the warnings about adult supervision are prudent, I will say that only the 2-year-old actually needed adult help, whereas the older kids could help each other.Although this is not the cheapest zipline kit out there, it is worth the money. The disc seat and the spring brake are absolutely essential, especially for younger kids. Without those two accessories, I would be constantly worried about serious injury, but as it is, I can just sit back and let 'em zip. Now, the downsides. Kudos to the reviewers who were actually able to set it up in one hour with only one adult, but we needed two adults (plus a third adult for the tricky parts) working for about 2.5 hours to get this thing up and running. Be warned that...* Site selection may be quite difficult. Not only must you avoid obstacles and rough terrain for the whole 90' course, there are strict guidelines for how big or small the trees can be, and how much maximum slope the line can accommodate. Perhaps surprisingly, you CANNOT set it up on a significant downhill slope.* The directions are confusing and not well-written. The diagrams are small and unclear. It took us a while to figure out which end of the cable was which, and why it mattered. There is a daunting list of "Necessary tools not included" at the beginning, which really threw us for a loop, but we ultimately ended up NOT needing most of the "Necessary" tools... so I'm not sure who wrote that list!* Tightening the cable is really difficult, especially if the start point is 10' or more up in a tree (which it usually will be). We definitely needed three adults for this. The turnbuckle helps add a little extra tightness at the end, but it is no substitute for awkward and strenuous pulling, tugging, and holding (while someone else frantically tightens the U-clamps before the whole thing starts to slip). After the initial tightening and some test runs, you'll almost certainly have to redo the whole tightening process because the cable has stretched.* Despite what the instructions say about how the rider should get on at the lowest point and then be towed up to the start point, it will be more fun for your kids (and easier for you) if they have a platform of some kind to launch from. We piled up a 4' high stack of firewood for this purpose (see photo); depending on your setup and materials, you may find a simpler or more complicated solution that this. So, this is not an easy project, but it's still well worth the trouble. Just be sure you set aside at least three hours (preferably a whole afternoon) to get your tools together, choose the site, clear any obstacles, decode the cryptic instructions, set up the cable, tighten it, test it, re-tighten it, and re-test it! Have fun!

Simply buy it!
We purchased this model from Amazon as one of friends had already purchased a shorter version and after watching the hours of fun the kids were having decided to buy one for our backyard. The parts are all high quality, the instructions are easy to follow and it was delivered within 2 days. The hardest thing is choosing the location and the slope. After that, two adults can put this up in under 2 hrs start to finish, this includes adjustments. I would highly recommend getting the brake for longer zip lines. Even with the modest slope our kids arrive at their destination with some speed...much to their excitement!! The brake lets me breath better and slows them down. We have a platform that the kids launch from but you can also use a ladder. Enjoy!

Easy to install and hours of fun
I read all the reviews about how easy it was to install but this zipline but was a little skeptical. When mine arrived, I was able to install it with my 10 year old son. I would recommend using another adult but I did find that it was very easy to install. So far we absolutely love having this zipline in our backyard. This was a birthday present for my son and he really enjoys riding as well as sharing with his friends. The other thing I will say is that the break/spring works perfectly to stop the kids at the end. I would not by another zipline without this feature. Great product! Buy with confidence.

The kids love it! Not as bad as I was expecting to install.
First, the set up and installation wasn't too difficult for us. My wife and I set it up in two hours, and I'm not a very handy person. The hardest part is getting it tight. After about two hours of play and turning the turn buckle to its maximum tightness, we had to retighten the zip line one more time which was expected. The brake that's included is a nice feature. The tree ends come with a runner material so the metal zip line doesn't touch the tree. Kids and adults have been having a great time playing on it since we've put it up. Highly recommended
