Most beautiful chess set I've ever seen. I've got it for my grandson. He's seven. He just learned to play, and now, each time I'm visiting, he's ready to play! THE CHESS SET OBJECT OF THIS REVIEW IS ABSOLUTELY MESMERIZING. I can't think of a better gift for a kid who wants to learn. I have many Indian friends, I've been many times in India, and I know how much those people appreciate culture and decency. The artisans who crafted this beautiful chess set are probably humble people -- BUT THEY DID A PHENOMENAL JOB. Get it! You won't regret!!

Pieces are well made, classic style, and perfectly weighted with felt bottoms. Board is beautiful hardwood and well made. Extra pieces are included and excellent storage drawers on each side of the base of the board. You will not be disappointed.

This was a birthday gift. The person who received it is very happy and loves it. It fits her hands perfectly -we have a bigger set, but while she liked them, it seemed a little too big for her hands. This worked out perfectly.

Beautifully handcrafted wooden chess set! Excellent quality with nice weight to each piece. I got this as a first chess set for our family and it's been used very often. Great purchase, definitely worth the price. It'll last for many years to come.

Good buy!
It was well packed (2 layer of cardboard and form to fill space), and arrived on time. Each pieced has very nice detailed work. The board is high gross, well polished surface. Drawers keeps all the pieces in the place. We are very happy with this product.

Le set d'échec d'une vie!
Magnifique set d'échec. Il est parfait, le prix est conséquent, mais la qualité l'est encore plus. Le seul petit souci pour lequel les 5 étoiles ne sont pas là, c'est que malgré le très bon niveau de protection dans le transport, un des coins du board a pris un impact de coup. Pas assez gros pour demander un remboursement mais triste vu la beauté du set.

Nice but wrong board
The board and pieces are nice. The wooden chess pieces are a good size and have a good weight and feel. Only 3 stars because they sent the wrong board.
