I bought these skates for myself knowing that at the end of last school year I would be attending a skate party with all of our 4th graders. Let me tell you, I have not been on skates in YEARS! I'm talking a good 20 years since I've rollerbladed. I used to think I was decent at it, but a 2-decade break hit me with the reality that my skating abilities had greatly diminished. However, I was able to assemble these skates and wear them for the entire 3-hour party, while deeply confusing and impressing some of my students who had probably hoped to see me wipe out. Thankfully, I retained enough skill to stay standing. I credit this to the skates. They are well designed and easy to adjust. I will be wearing them to this year's upcoming skate party and have been encouraged to get in some practice before then. The most complicated part was installing the break, but honestly, that was probably my fault and not the skate design. All necessary tools came in the packaging. I ordered according to their size chart and they fit perfectly. If I'd gone by my assumed shoe size, they would have been too big.Highly recommend. Show those kids you've still got (some) of it.

Great skates with know doubt. Things to be aware of: the brake does not last if ur using it on side walk or pavement, it will grind it away pretty fast. The only other thing I have to say is more so about roller blading itself not the skates, if u leave Ina location with a lot of up hills (like the mtns or rolling hills) u have to be in seriously good shape and even then it will probably still kick ur ass. Roller blading and steap up hill does not mix at all... In conclusion of the product though the skates are awesome and well worth the money.

These have the right wheels, which are more durable. The stainless steel trucks are great.All around great product and cheaper than name brands

Bearings are abec5, not abec7Wheels are noisy too

They're alright for dipping your toes in the water, after not skating since a kid.Most likely not ABEC 7 or even 5 rated bearings. I can run my hand down the wheels with the skates off and they stop spinning pretty fast with only the air as the only resistance.Only worn them once. Can't imagine them holding up to regular use over a prolonged period of time, but we will see.
