Saw an article about these and decided to try them. Picked a few options on prime day and these were the keeper. I love that they fold down and take up much less space if traveling or storing. That was the big winner for me. They came slightly charged so I could try out right away. These are a bit louder than other options (hence the 4 stars) but with three levels of fan speed, they give me enough air to cool me down a bit. Also, they were available in light pink so they look more like skin than the bright white or dark black, less conspicuous.

I sweat profusely despite the weather, my clothing, my activities, etc. And I teach fitness classes. I was looking for anything that would help me sweat less, not sweat, or stop sweating when I wanted to appear "normal" or more like the other people around me. After trying at least 15 different makes and models of neck fans under $30, this was #1 for several reasons:It only weighs 9.1 ounces, among the lightest out there.There are air vents almost all the way around it so the back of my hair doesn't stay damp for as long.It flexes in the middle so I can adjust it to my activity, microphone, etc.It has a 6000 mAh battery so it lasts longer than others.It is 5v in and 5w out; many others are not.It offers you the choice of 2 or 4 air circulators near your face, in addition to the vents.I've worn it in the car, while teaching aerobics classes, and while doing things in the house and it has kept me cooler than I expected. After 3-4 hours of use on the highest level, it still had juice but I recharged it for the following week anyway.In my search I found 2 others that were lighter but both had 4000 mAh batteries and output was less than 5W. The lightest one (7.7 oz) did not have air vents toward the back. The slightly heavier one (8.8 oz) did have the vents but could only produce 3W output.Overall, I'm pleased enough to return for 2 more for family members. Hope this helps someone else looking for this type of item .

I've had these for about a week and use them everyday. They run good. I use them on the middle setting mostly and the battery exceeds 5 hours for me. Great product. I guess the only thing I noticed is that the plastic casing on the front round fans and button/ screen areas are a slightly different shade of green than the neck part but it's not a deal breaker. Would buy again. Oh, as soon as I bought these for 17.99, the price dropped to 16.99 so that was kinda like oh ok. But it's just a dollar.

I use this fan almost every day. I just used it while washing dishes and I'll use it while working in the yard later. I do not find it heavy or awkward and I am a small, older woman. It is a little noisy, but that is to be expected. Because of my size, the front holes didn't blow on me so I covered them with clear tape. This also forced more air out the back holes to help cool the nape of my neck. I just ordered another one for my sister-in-law and I will probably buy another one to fold and keep in the glove box of my car. I only wish I had had it while I was having hot flashes. The charge lasts a long time and it recharges quickly.

Only thing I can say about these…They will keep you cool, especially if you’re sweating…But they are a little heavy,not light weight, after having them on for a little while

Overall, this product definitely works. Just don’t expect it to work for the whole day which is not a knock to the product that’s with any battery for a long day such as in Disney WorldIt has three settings, low, medium and high. The only knock on the product is it’s not super lightweight which I guess is understandable because of the fans and the housing of the product in the battery so as long as you’re OK with that then I do recommend this product.

I was hoping to wear the neck fan at a conference while I talked to people but it’s too loud, even on low. So I’ll just wear it outdoors.

The fan works as described. It cools around the neck and face. It does make it hard to hear conversation while it’s running.
