Detachable Camping Wood Stove Rocket Stove Portable Durable Convenient Stainless Steel

This was the cheapest and most portable rocket stove I could find on Amazon. This stove is very small. It's roughly 2.5 x 2.5 inches for the main burning chamber. This should only be used with small pots or maybe slightly bigger one than small pots. I was about to give 4 stars to this product because it does not come with any instructions of any kind which was annoying since you have to put all of the pieces together. Luckily, the pieces are fairly intuitive if you look at the product pictures and make guesses on how it should look like/function. I gave it 5 stars because I believe this product is an overall 4.5/5 stars.My wife and I were originally frustrated with the product because the fire would not stay on and the water never boiled for us. Fortunately, the issues we faced were due to user error. You do not want to use a big pot on this or try to boil a lot of water at a time. Description states 20 minute average boil time but managed to consistently achieve boil for 16 ounces in about 9 minutes. 16 ounces/2 cups is key because that's how much water you need to make instant ramen noodles or two cups of hot chocolate. The other user error was overcrowding the burning chamber with too many sticks and smothering the fire. Only 2-4 sticks are needed at a time to keep a consistent fire. The sticks have to be burning with a flame for boiling/cooking to be effective. You cannot cook with the embers using this product because the chimney is pretty tall and the heat is gone by the time it gets to the pot if there's no flame.Once we figured out the user errors, this product worked as intended. It is smaller than I expected. I think 4 x 4 inch burning chamber would have been more appropriate but it did the trick. It boiled water and that's what I bought it for. I have yet to try a frying pan on this but I'm sure it'll get hot enough to do the camp cooking that I need.It's nice to be able to cook with only little sticks also. This product is really very efficient with wood use and it's amazing to see how much can be done with only small sticks. I would recommend this product for light camping use and I think would come in handy when backpacking as you can easily gather small sticks for the fuel.The real thing that only needs to be fixed with this product is to provide instructions for assembly and use. Could have avoided all of the frustrations if that was provided.
