I bought the bright green ones to keep me cool during a summer festival. The color is bright, the battery lasts a reasonable amount of time, and it moves air very well. It's a little noisy but I'm not really complaining. Good bang for buck, takes a bit to charge but if I plan accordingly, it isn't an issue. It's a little thick around the neck.

This is the oneThis review is for the older model that has gold-colored accents on the exterior of the turbines. I recently bought a cheap neck fan and realized this was the type of ventilation and cooling I was missing. Why not take the same electronics as a handheld fan and design it in a way for columns of air to go around your neck? Well, I quickly found out that despite most of these companies using the same turbines, the design of the fan itself is what matters.After my initial, disappointing purchase of a different brand’s neck fan, I bought this one. I know own 5 diferrent models of neck fans and this is the one that works with its design. Despite some fans having additional turbines or air outlets in the back of the neck area, they still aren’t as good as this one and I think I’ve found out why:The design of the airflow has to be optimized. There are some fans design with holes in its design, made to maximize airflow and others with thin air outfits. Those that change their internal design end up blocking the air near the turbines and that’s why some reviewers mentioned that the only - or at least the most powerful air - comes from near the turbines despite air vents encircling the entire neck area. Meanwhile those that have thin or weirdly design air outlets (honeycomb design or just big, open vents) do not distribute air well. I’ve noticed fans like the Dyson fans work so well because their narrow and thin outlets allow even and precise distribution of air.I think the main reason why this design works so well is the distance from the neck and the angle of the air outlets. This combination creates enough distance for the air to travel through, thus increasing the surface area that it’s cooling and the vents are perfect angled above my jaw line.Bottom line is that the design is a huge factor in these little fans. After trying 5 so far, this is the superior design and I will stick to this one. The only thing to consider if that we all have different dimensions and what’s a perfect fit for me may not be for you, but personally, this is the best fan I’ve owned and now goes with me everywhere in Florida. 5/5 Stars.

Husband got me this for work since I get super hot and am moving around too much for a stationary fan. I charge it between shifts, like everyone seems to recommend and have had no issues for my 8 hour shifts. It has three settings and, of course, the higher the fan, the louder it is. The low setting is fine for me most of the time, so sound hasn't been a concern. If you're working somewhere insanely quiet, of course you'll hear it. I work in a retail pharmacy, so the low setting can't be heard.It uses whatever room temperature air you've got to work with, so if you're outside in the middle of summer, it's only going to get but so cool. It's 100% better than nothing. If you're indoors, I haven't had any complaints since it's usually cool enough to be *cool* air. It's a neck fan, it can only do but so much.The purple is a really nice thing. Had a hard time finding one in purple that is actually worthwhile.Some people have had issues with hair getting stuck in the intake part on the back, but I can't say too much. I keep my hair pulled back when I'm wearing it and have only had a few strays get caught, nothing noteworthy. Again, it's a neck fan, I feel like this is something to be expected for a product like this. On the topic of the intake, that's on the back and the fans are on the front, where it looks like the ear parts would be on headphones, so you aren't getting air on the neck that isn't exposed to those. I expected this, it makes logical sense, so every so often, if it becomes a problem, sort of pull it back to let where it sits sort of air out.Other random bits:-It's surprisingly lightweight. I'm autistic, so if something on my neck is too.... touchy? Heavy? I just can't handle it for more than a half hour, tops. No problem here!-I've got a big neck and it's not too tight but doesn't hang loose. If you bend over, it's not just falling off.-Not gaudy! I was worried this would be a problem in terms of work uniform, but there have been zero complaints. In fact, two of my bosses loved it!Basically, keep your expectations realistic and you will love it! The price is perfect!

This thing really could be better. It's already clicking when the fan runs, the low isn't great but med and high are indistinguishable from each other. It's bulky and it's uncomfy with how far forward and pinched together the opening is (which also makes it irritating to slide on and off). Just overall don't prefer this fan in particular

I first got this for a wedding where I was part of the wedding party. I knew I’d be running around and breaking a sweat. It worked so great and the funniest part was everyone thought they were headphones.The battery lasted we all day from 9am, when I started using it at hair and makeup, through 3pm before the ceremony. It kept me cool and my makeup and hair from getting gross.It does make a little noise, a buzz, but it’s not loud in my opinion. Clearly no one thought it was a fan so they didn’t hear it.Easy to use and I think the price was reasonable for the quality. I would buy again and have recommended to others already.I take this fan everywhere, bachelorette party, vacation and honestly even around the house if I’m getting ready and don’t want to sweat my makeup off.
