If you can afford, I suggest making a few purchases and compare several pedals. Not all pedals are alike, as we all know!
Oz Noy AC/, has great tone no doubt. But too much bass even with bass turned all the way down. It is definantly a better pedal than the BB + from exotic. I returned the Bb+ as the sound output was just too warm of a tone for me. However, for alternative rock, hard rock, grunge, country, or even thrash metal (also known as death metal) the Exotic AC+ plus is they way to go. The AC+ just can not be beat by its crisp and clean tonality. I was going to return the AC/RC, but decided to keep and couple it with my AC+plus by exotic, along with the Seymour Duncan pickup booster and line driver. Now I am in love with my kick ass tonality and guitar riffs.

Quality Tones + Value - 2 Pedals in One
Can't go wrong with the RC Boost side of the pedal. They're on many pro boards because of the harmonic richness they add. So for about $60 more than just the RC, in this pedal, you get the AC Boost as well. Oz Noy reports seeing the AC on Eric Johnson's small board. What a recommendation that is! The AC side is very Marshall-esque (warm, tube-y) and versatile. Both sides stack nicely of course. I use the Oz Noy Pedal for low and medium gain overdrive and to add that 'something special' that the RC Boost does so well. Great pedal!
