FIRST YOU SHOULD KNOW: I got these for casual gaming on my ROG Ally and I love them. LATENCY: with gaming mode is hardly noticeable, I mean I can't even tell. It's like Ray tracing. If I go looking for it I'll find the latency, if I'm just casually gaming I don't notice it. I DO NOT RECCOMMEND these if you intend to play competitively, obviously you want all wired for competition. QUALITY: Far as I can tell, quality is awesome, bass is solid. I've always noticed Asus ROG puts some good sound quality in their devices (I've owned the zephyrus g14 before, those speakers and the Ally speakers are noticeably better than competitions) BATTERY LIFE: as I've stated I'm casually gaming. Longest session I had was a bit over an hour and the battery life went from 80% to 60% ish HANDLING: Using those touch sensors is no big deal. My ONLY COMPLAINT is the voice that says what mode you're in? It sounds like they recorded it in a kitchen with an iphone mic. ALSO CHANGING EARBUD SIZES IS AN ABSOLUTE PAIN BUT they are firm when they're finally on. ACTIVE NOISE CANCELLING: Mine also came with a defect, ANC doesn't work on the left earbud, just makes a weird hissing noise. Nothing I've thought of to try has fixed the issue, I'm returning these for another. I'll update for ANC when I get the new set. UPDATE: The ANC works well, it's not Bose quality but it helps eliminate distracting noise, and I'm not sure why there's low and high ANC? I'm only going to use high ANC, ambient, or off, so switching from one to another I'll encounter "Low noise cancelling" roll my eyes and switch again. The ambient mode is nice too for when I go to the store wanting to listen to punk rock or play games on break at work. I'll add another star since the new set works as intended. SO: I love it! At most I can get a few hours of solid gaming with no wires attached and I love that. The only other defect I find is when I played Halo MCC. Best way I can describe it is it goes from being normal to big echo-y room and crap quality. Doesn't happen everytime but sometimes. Hopefully the new ones coming in won't be as defected. UPDATE: The speed nova does NOT have a slot to hold the 2.4ghz dongle like the delta S does, personally a deal breaker for me, I'd lose that thing in a week

I’m digging these ROG Cetra true wireless gaming earbuds. They are comfortable in the ears, come with multiple ear piece sizes, connect to Bluetooth without issue, and have awesome sound. The battery seems like it last through a good gaming session. The earbuds connect flawlessly with the Armoury Crate app, and once some EQ tweaking was performed, the sound is clear and amazing! I have been using these with my new Xbox ROG Ally X and they have been working great on the system. There is a little lag, but it’s minimal in my experiences. Definitely a quality headset and not too expensive.

These are my daily carry set of ear buds. I use them 5-8 hours a day while at work (connected to my iPhone) and at night when I game on my PC. I have to charge my case about every 4 or 5 days after heavy use. The ear buds, which I alternate between (because my work prohibits two ear buds in at a time), hold charge for about 5-6ish hours. Initially, when I got them, the case was rather difficult to open and would sometimes slip out of my pockets and hands. Now that it’s ‘broken’ in from use it is much easier to open but still rather slick. It can slip out of pockets made with softer materials (basket ball shorts). The case and ear buds have survived multiple drops on concrete and other surfaces. They connect easily/automatically to my PC but sometimes are stubborn when it comes to connecting to my iPhone but this might be because of my phone being older or needing an update. They are the best fitting ear buds I’ve ever owned. I have never had one fall out on its own. They also cancel out quiet a bit of background noise pretty well. I have used them as ear protection at times when using impact wrenches. The pictures attached to this review reflect 8 months of constant use. Notice the abrasions where the magnets are under the lid, this is from metal from my work getting in the case and causing wear. The finish changes over time from a matte finish to a glossy one. One is missing because I’m currently using it lol. This review is less about sound quality and more about reliability and long term quality. Overall, I’m very impressed and it’s nice to have something different than the ear buds everyone else owns. They match my computer and they function well. My biggest complaint is that I wish I could change the RGB colors. Edit: 12/16/2025 I lost my ear buds for about 2-3 weeks and have finally found them. The case will charge but I believe the ear buds have finally kicked the bucket. Their service will not be forgotten, I will be replacing them with an identical pair when I get paid. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase.

I have worn bulky headsets while gaming more often than not. If I just want to recline with my ASUS ROG Ally for a few hours with these in I can hardly feel them there. Amazing for my use case. Sound quality is great. I've had a few instances of audio interference watching movies, but it was an isolated instance. No problems outside of that. I only wish the battery was a tad longer. Excellent product!!!

I originally got these for the low latency and an alternative to over ear headphones. My experience with these have been awful. Even though the description says 22 to 27hr battery life, in reality its more like 45 minutes. What they don't tell you is that the 22 to 27hr battery life is the battery of the case not the earbuds. While using these on my PC, the audio would randomly turn to garbage after playing with good audio for a few minutes. This is because of the hands free audio (listening and using the mic at the same time), which bluetooth can't handle very well and ruins the audio. I have also noticed that the left earbud does not charge as well as the right. Making the usable battery life even lower. At the time of writing this I am thinking of returning these. The only upsides are that when the audio is playing properly it sounds great. When using the game mode they are low latency and I can't really tell if there is a delay. In my opinion, don't buy these.

I was looking for a set of gaming headphones. I came across these after doing my research first I decided to pull the plug and buy these off Amazon since they were on sale. Best Buy was asking too much. Great noise cancellation, quality for the money, sounds great gaming or on phone calls. Allows you to put it in gaming mode for gaming. Fast pairing I don’t have to constantly re pair my headphones to my gaming device. They’re also pretty comfortable. I was not trying to pay over one hundred dollars. To me the SuperNova version wasn’t worth it. I hate when companies want to over charge for a product.

I came here to blast this product Into oblivion. My initial experience was not as expected. But after I stepped back and used these for what they are made, I had a change of heart. Using these as your daily drivers is not a good idea. The sound was tinny and poor on my iPhone. I downloaded the app it suggested and I was able to make them sound better but I quickly realized that it’s not the product I was frustrated with but the software. After reading several reviews and my own tinkering and exploration I knew where my frustrations stemmed. The Armory Crate app is a terrible piece of engineering. It’s bloatware to the max. But I’m getting ahead of myself. Back to the reason I bought them. I game quite a bit on Android based handhelds and I wanted a set of earbuds that would have less latency and good noise cancellation. These earbuds do this very well. And for the sale price they were a good deal. The quality is good as is the fit. And the latency is very minimal compared to my daily Bluetooth headphones. After changing my focus on these earphones to only gaming I feel much better about them. They pair with my devices including my laptop well. But understand that they do not pair if they are connected to another device. They will not disconnect on their own like my sound core phones will when I connect to a different device. Also, the software intended to be used with them will not work on my android device. Several permissions need to be changed but even after doing everything the app asked it still did not see my earbuds. Strangely it works on iPhone. Why these get a 3 star. Overall they do what they are made to do. Gaming. Other than the terrible software there’s the design of the case and the touch controls. I don’t understand why they chose the shape they did but the case is hard to hold and difficult to open without dropping it. I’ve noticed that all earbuds now come in silky smooth cases with openings that require fingernail manipulation to open. I nearly drop it every time I try to open them. That needs to stop. The touch controls work but each bud controls different aspects and have no universal pause or stop. Only one of the buds do that. And there is no volume control that I’ve found. Now back to the software. After doing some digging, this software is invasive, power hungry and poorly engineered. I read review after review of its poor use case. I could not get it working on android but it worked on my iPhone and my laptop. On my laptop the app records all your system data and even asks to record your vocal inputs. It also uses a lot of resources for what little it is supposed to do. I recommend not ever using it. I’m removing it from all my devices. If you are buying these earphones for gaming only I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. But don’t expect them to be your everyday use device.

Probably the best active noise canceling earphones I've ever heard! Excellent sound, excellent app that is highly customizable, including an equalizer, three levels of active noise cancellation as well as battery level L/R. I'd purchased an Asus ROG phone 6 and wanted to get the best for quality, compatibility and support. Very pleased with the battery life and all the features of the custom app for it. Good battery life and quick charging also! ⭐🫤EDIT⭐🫤 July 17th started getting static in right ear bud for no reason! Now I have to try to get customer service to see what they're going to do about it! The earpiece is only inches away from the phone and it is not at a loud volume that it has static it's just a normal listening volume only when playing music! Very disappointing since I had such great use out of them so far and they've not been abused, dropped in water or even sweating. Extremely disappointed! We will see what happens and I will follow up to this edit when I have new news!!
