Q: Will this help repel stains on white sneakers that aren't leather? Not so much worried about water as i am the stains.

I had high hope for this spray but haven’t had great luck…I sprayed it on my white Ons when they were brand new and they seem to be getting just as dirty as all my other tennis shoes.

Q: Will this work for mesh (breathable) sneakers?

No. That is what I had and it didn’t help with 2 different pairs.

it's definitely not water it smells a lot like spray paint

Q: how many pairs of shoes should I expect to be able to protect with 1 can?

I was able to do 1 pair of Adidas Superstar's twice and the 2nd pair once
