a Review: Damn. That's quite a debut. - If you have ears and a soul, then this record is definitely one for your collection. Beautiful, bittersweet, at times melancholic and at others, darkly funny. Lyrics and a voice that go together perfectly. Songs that conjure memories of lost youth and reflective introspection. I want to listen to this on repeat while ambling through Yosemite or another national park of equal stature and impressiveness. Or possibly in a coastal area or perhaps a desert. The geography is unimportant. You can listen to it pretty much anywhere. Review: Vinyl - Brilliant item very pleased

I literally listen to this album daily!
Whilst debut albums can be edgy and try to break molds. Her voice throughout this album is magnificent and demonstrates a range few other artists possess, all whilst delivering original, poignent and brilliantly written prose. Genuinely an album I'll never be parting ways with. Fair to say I'm biased, but it is a brilliantly refreshing recording and really taps into my emotional recesses!

Gorgeous debut album but may be an issue with the pressing?
I agree with all reviews shown on Amazon as this is a beautiful and haunting album, but would also reiterate the comment listed on amazon.com on 25th September, that my cd also is missing the cover listed 11th track. This is a short reprise of track 1 that would round off the album nicely (it is playable on amazon under digital music and also on spotify so certainly exists). Has anyone else spotted this in UK as if so there may be a faulty batch of discs out there? Frustrating.....

One to watch.
My son introduced me to Phoebe's songs as a one to watch. He wasn't wrong. Her voice is unique and the songs are mostly quietly haunting ruminations on love, loss and relationships. There is an element of West Coast Folk sound to the album but I'm looking forward to what she dies next. It would be good if she moves out of her comfort zone and does the unexpected. So Definately One To Watch.

Beautiful and painfully honest
I was a little late to the party with Phoebe Bridgers, but this is a beautiful album. The production is enticing, but simple, and the lyrics are clever, witty and intimate. There is a feeling of reading someone’s diary, which I feel similarly with The National, early Elbow and Death Cab for Cutie
