I've bought several of these small 5x5 sketchbooks, and they are just the right size to toss in my bag when I'm on the go. The pages hold up well to a variety of media, but are best suited for markers, pencils, crayons and more dry media.The cover design is just the icing on the cake. So, so cute.

I love this cute journal. I am practicing my watercolor techniques and the paper is a good texture.

The size is perfect when traveling. It will easily fit in a day bag, is big enough to capture a memory, and holds watercolor paints very well. The elastic strap is a great addition to keep your work from getting damaged, and the little pencil/pen loop on top is terrific to keep your primary instrument ready to go. Filled my first book with sketches & watercolors from 2 short trips, and was so happy with it, bought a second one for an upcoming longer vacation!

I purchased this for my trip to Arizona. I'm still painting from photos now that I'm back. I'm very pleased with this watercolor journal it's pages are stitched and it has a band that holds your water brush and a band that keeps it closed.They thought of everything with this travel journal...paper is great for a travel journal..

The media could not be loaded.  It’s a tad smaller than I realized (my fault for not paying attention to the measurements), but I still love it. Good quality paper, thick! The design on the cover is beautiful and vibrant. I also love the elastic closure that wraps around the cover and the secret hidden pocket inside the back cover.

Paper itself is ok, just wish I would’ve gotten the one I ordered. This patterns decent looking, but I ordered the butterfly one. Otherwise no complaints.
