This item may not be what you expect
The description says that it is for 5 inch diameter flag pole. The one I got is 30 inches long which would be a circumference of 30 inches. If you do the calculation for diameter circumference divided by PI (3.14) you get a diameter of 9.55 inches. I do have to say that the construction of this item is extremely good. There is nothing wrong with the quality

Well made and exactly what I was looking for. Should reduce wear on both the flag and the lanyard. Sturdy enough that it should last for many years.

Looks good but is light and long
Sent quickly, does the job okay but it would have been better if the description included the actual weight and LENGTH. It is sized for the pole diameter but a length would have helped. It's much longer than needed and much lighter than expected. I bought two (one for later use) but had to use both for the weight. So far the two work fine and they look great.
