It does what it says it does. It shaded me from the ambient light so I can compose my photograph. I was expecting it to be a bit thicker but I guess in the end it’s better than it’s lightweight to save room and weight while hiking. It’s completely opaque so it doesn’t really matter. I found the velcro closure to be a nice feature to customize the tension on your camera to your liking. Some people like it tighter than others so this is a good feature. Overall pretty happy. Glad I didn’t have to spend an arm and a leg on a more well known brand

I use this to make images with my 4x5 field camera and B&W film. Works well. I think the size is just about right. It could be a little larger but I'm being ticky-tack. It is pretty easy to put on and take off - which is important, because I don't want to be fighting it or thinking about it. I want to be concentrating on my compositions.The one small beef I have is that I wish the elastic was a little looser. You have to pull/stretch it firmly to get it to wrap around the back of the camera. A little too firmly, IMHO. This could unintentionally alter the position of the back standard. Maybe, over time, the elastic will loosen up.
