We use pet remedy around our home for our cats but our cat Asuna is extra stressed. She is very small so feels she needs to stand up to our other cat and as she was abandoned by her mum cat and hand reared she doesn’t have any cat social skills and gets stressed when cats approach her (especially outside).We started using this after we moved house as Asuna would not come out of her tunnel for days. We just sprinkle it over her food and she eats the powder right up - and she is a fussy eater. Since using this she has become more comfortable in the house, fights with our other cat have reduced, she is less bitey with us and she is even more confident outside (see picture) she used to hide in bushes so it’s a major step to see her standing on top of a 7ft high bush!I would definitely recommend this product. Some people feel this is pricey but the results are totally worth it. Also as it’s made from milk protein there are no nasty chemicals to worry about.I hope this helps!

Recommended by the vet, cheaper than buying it from the vet and it stops our neutered boy from spraying indoors. Have been using it for years now (the contents of one capsule sprinkled over his food once a day, and he likes the taste). Whenever we run out of capsules, he sprays indoors...

Easy to use, simply mix in with wet food. I found that, in conjunction with feline pheromone diffusers, this worked to ease stress in a newly introduced cat within 24 hours.

This is a fabulous product to help calm nervousness in cats. I have one who really dislikes one of our other cats and this helps her manage to ignore him more.I do love Amazon asking me to rate the flavour though 😂

I have used Zylkene on my cats for a few years on different occasions such as, moving house, introducing a new inhabitant and when I had major and noisy work at home. It has always seemed to work alone at times or in conjunction with Feliway plug ins.I recommend

Used for my 3 cats during and after our recent move, very good at keeping them calm.

This made my cat very ill! Not sure it was a bad batch, but he stopped eating, stopped using the litter tray and hid for the 5 days he was on it. A vets visit later, nothing was found and they suggested discontinuing this and within 24 hours he was back eating again! Avoid!

Introducing a puppy into s household with an extremely timid pussy cat was probably not my best idea. Tried everything then these tablets. She still growls at the puppy but will now come downstairs and be in the same room as him, however brief!!

Pas vraiment efficace, ce produit n' a pas marché pour mes chats...

Como ya digo en el título, hay que tener mucha paciencia. Me las indicaron para un gato muy nervioso, recientemente adoptado y muy a largo plazo se notan los efectos (hablo de meses), poco, pero se nota algo y le ayuda por poco que sea, añadir que cada gato es un mundo y habrá a quien no le haga nada de efecto y a otros los dejará como una balsa de aceite, pero lo más importante es que son ingredientes naturales sin consecuencias negativas para el animal.

Excellent résultat en 2 jours sur un chat qui depuis toujours a eu des problèmes de malpropreté dans les coins, sur le canapé, sous les lits, sur son coussin (par périodes et malgré une litière toujours nickel, des tas de litières et d'endroits essayés etc) et de mauvais caractère (sans aucune cause identifiée type territorialité, déménagement, agressions ou autres).La malpropreté était plus espacée mais le caractère lunatique a peu à peu évolué en chat vraiment agressif pouvant nous attaquer jusqu'au sang et sans raison.Le Feliway n'a jamais eu aucun effet sur lui (je dirais même que c'était encore pire avec que sans).Tout cela traduit, et je l'ai compris un peu tard en me documentant sur le net, un comportement anxieux de fond. Le chat se rassure en faisant pipi partout, et son anxiété le conduit à attaquer.J'ai donné Zyklene après plusieurs agressions (morsures, griffures) rapprochées.Après deux comprimés (j'ai ouvert la gélule et versé la poudre dans un peu de sauce de sachet de nourriture humide pour chat), le chat miaule beaucoup moins le jour comme la nuit, il ne nous attaque plus (il lève encore parfois la patte à notre passage mais pas plus), retourne tranquillement à la litière et dort bien la nuit.Cela fait une semaine que je donne une gélule tous les soirs.Mon vétérinaire m'ayant indiqué que je pouvais lui donner pendant 1 à 2 mois je compte continuer.---Edit après plus d'un mois de traitement :Notre chat est métamorphosé. Plus de pipis, pratiquement plus de gestes agressifs, un temps de sommeil allongé et plus d'appels la nuit, et un chat plus câlin. Génial.---Edit 2 après 9 mois de traitement :9 mois c'est long, mais considérant les résultats bluffants je n'ose plus arrêter, ce d'autant qu'il ne semble y avoir aucun effet indésirable sur la santé du chat. Les pics d'agressivité/anxiété ayant lieu vers 20H30-21H, je continue à lui donner la gélule vers 19H. Il y a bien eu quelques tentatives d'attaques en 9 mois, ainsi qu'une rechute de quelques jours de pipis ou d'appels (par exemple après un déplacement, ou quand nous reprenons le travail et sommes beaucoup absents), mais globalement ce produit est très efficace. L'abonnement mensuel permet de l'obtenir à 13,50 les 30 gélules. J'ajoute qu'en cas d'agression ou de pipis, il ne faut surtout pas crier car cela ne fait qu'augmenter l'anxiété de l'animal. J'en étais à envisager sérieusement de donner du Prozac avec le véto. Donc vraiment à tenter si votre animal est anxieux, malpropre ou agressif.

Vorab möchte ich anmerken, dass der Wirkstoff dem der Muttermilch nachempfunden ist und das damalige Wohlgefühl des Kittens / Welpen beim säugen wieder aktivieren soll. Deshalb wirkt es unterschiedlich, ganz vereinfacht gesagt, je nachdem, wie entspannt oder gestresst das Kätzchen die ersten Wochen und vor allem das Säugen verbracht hat.Man kann m.E. damit psychische Probleme, große Ängstlichkeit oder Panik nicht heilen, aber gut unterstützen.Bei uns wirkt es super. Unsere seeehr ängstliche und schreckhafte Katze flüchtete früher schon bei einem Niesen oder schnellen Schritt und wurde nach dem Tod ihres geliebten Kumpels und dem späteren Einzug eines neuen Gefährten angst-aggresiv gegenüber der neuen Katze.Sie bekommt deshalb seit Januar Globuli, die schon eine sagenhafte Verbesserung brachten. Wir haben vor den Globuli mit Zylkene angefangen und das dann abgesetzt, und mittlerweile bekommt sie Zylkene wieder mit, weil der Unterschied deutlich erkennbar ist. Sie erträgt Dinge, die sie vorher vermutlich als lebensbedrohlich empfunden hat, sehr viel gelassener und ist insgesamt, natürlich mal mehr, mal weniger, entspannter.Für uns also keine 2-Tages-Therapie vor einem TA-Besuch o.ä., aber die Langzeitwirkung ist erstaunlich.Vorher hatten wir auch mal Feliway in Gebrauch, was auch schon eine leichte Entspannung brachte, aber Zylkene ist zielgenauer und wirksamer.
