Great starter board, packaging could've been better but otherwise very happy!
I bought this Complete setup as my first board, and so far I'm absolutely loving it! As an amateur myself, I would definitely recommend to new longboarders, and while the pros might prefer a £150-£300 custom-built board I'm sure they'd still enjoy a few runs on this beast. One of my buddies has asked me to order another one for him!So, keeping in mind this is a starter board (and pretty cheap too, great price!), the hardware itself is obviously going to be pretty basic. The wheels and bearings (ABEC 7) do run nice and smooth without any horrible grinding sounds, nice and quick on the downhill, but since swapping them out for some Bones Reds and new wheels, I get a lot more "Go!" out of each push, meaning less effort and more roll on smooth, flat runs. The board itself is made from alternating layers of bamboo and maple, giving it both strength and good flexibility with a nice spring. The flex makes it feel like the board is being pulled down towards the ground a little at higher speeds, making it feel very stable and smooth. It's nice and wide from nose to tail while still looking sleek, giving you plenty of room to manoeuvre and put your feet. Front end is quite heavy so for manuals and popping up curbs it feels much easier to bring my front foot to centre and just lean onto the back foot a little. The trucks are top-mounted rather than drop-through on this version (Krown have a small range boards in this style), so while it's solid and doesn't wobble too much at speed, it doesn't take slow, tight turns very well - but then, isn't that what the kicktail is for? ;)I do feel a little wheel bite on the back while leaning hard to the sides, this hasn't been an issue in my first couple of weeks riding, but then I'm not exactly sliding down mountain roads just yet! The bamboo pattern on both top and bottom gives it a great aesthetic, but the clear grip does collect a lot of dirt. Postage time was great - a little under 2 weeks from U.S. to U.K - but packaging left a little to be desired. The board was placed in a slightly long but suitably-sized box, however there was no paper, card slots or airbags to stop it from rolling around. When it arrived the kicktail was stuck out the end of the box! On the photo you can see a nice little dent where it had knocked into stuff during transit. Aside from that I've got no real complaints. All in all it's a great little starter board that I'm very pleased with, even my experienced skater friends love it! Getting some new bearings and wheels is a definite bonus, with those ordered from local sellers I've spent £100 total (inc. postage) and am very happy with the results - although I might just treat myself to a shiny new pair of trucks too ;)

I know nothing about skateboards but...
When my 15 year old son said he wanted a long board from one of the lesser box stores, I was worried that what he would be getting was not what he was really wanting... So we did a lot of research to figure out what he really wanted and it turns out this fit the bill perfectly. He loves the fact that it is natural wood that his friends can all write on without having to worry that it will ruin the styling, and I love the fact that with the natural finish we can replace the grit ourselves with basic sand and lacquer once he wears it off rather than just putting grit tape on, which makes for a nice way to teach him how to take care of his treasures rather than just tossing them when they get a little worn.

Great deal for a great board!
This is a great longboard! Not just as a starter, either. I don't like to call myself "professional", but I do consider myself to be a longtime skater. This was the first longboard I ever owned, but I've ridden several. Krown is an excellent brand. I personally love the natural wood look, as well as the bamboo graphic. The shipping came about a week earlier than it estimated (I live on the eastern shore of Maryland, if that helps) and there was only one issue I found on the board itself. Everything was perfect except for a very minor scuff I found on the bottom of the deck in the middle. But let's be honest, it's the bottom of the deck. It was going to get jacked up anyway through riding and wear & tear. The wheels and trucks are decent. Not fantastic, but definitely great quality.A personal testimony, I've got a friend who owns a local skate shop in two locations here in Maryland that had this exact board for $99. Also, there's another skate/surf shop on the beach that has the newer model of this same Krown board (just a different shape for the deck) for somewhere around $120. This being said, this was a great deal for a board that will last you a while.

Great starter board
Great value for money, good starter board, looks good, strong, not as fast as some of the higher end boards, but worth every penny if your kid wants their first long board and you don't want to lay out $200+.Watch the surface of it when you are storing / transporting it as the deck is like 100 grit sandpaper and will rub / damage leather or plastic if it is jammed up against.

Bamboo longboard
This was my first board, and I have to say that this board has been great for me. Very nice soft wheels, and a beautiful deck!

A great kicktail board for all types of riding
This has been a great board so far. I like having a kicktail again and the graphic on the board is simple and sleek. It's cool that they printed it on both sides too. The griptape has been really good, which was not what I had read in another review. The only reason I didn't rate it a 5 star is because I switched the wheels/trucks out with another set I had. The ones that came with it seemed fine though.

don't get it
If you are going to get a longboard , don't get this one and dont buy one online, go to a board shop and they will get you a nice board, it may be exspensive but it is worth it unlike this board. the wheels are terrible and the wood is cheap and the grip is horrific. DON'T BUY THE BOARD
