AMD Ryzensets 9 7900X3D Processor with 3D V cache technology (Integrated radeon graphics, 12cores/24threads, 120W TDP, Socket AM5, Cache 140MB, up to 5.6 GHz max boost, no cooler

I upgraded from a i7 9700 processor and have never considered the amd route. I have looked at price and the reliability of the new intel processors and amd was an easy choice. This runs hot so you need a good cooler to keep your temps down and this does not come with a stock cooler. I cannot get over how much faster this is. A video 1 1/2 converted from 1080p to 720p in 5 minutes my old processor was 25 minutes. I’ve stressed the cpu and the temps never exceeded 76c. The pc also feels nippier than before even when accessing my drives. I would go amd again with my next processor this is so fast it’s mind blowing.

Fantastic CPU, very easy to fit with an msi gaming motherboard, no worries at all really and I'm a first time PC builder and was nervous about messing up. Paired this 9 7900x3d with an radeon 7800XT and it plays everything with ease.

The AMD Ryzen 9 7900X3D is a beast, it would be insane not to buy one if you can afford it. The gaming performance is excellent and it has super power efficiency. This is my first high end CPU and it does not disappoint.

easy to install, was here quick and is now in my new B650 mobo and running soooooo smooth with 64GB DDR5 6000 mem. Cooling with my existing AM4 watercooler works perfectly and temps not going above 40/50C under load

Bit of a pain to setup initially. You need to do the following 1. Enable Game mode in windows 2. Ensure gamebar and the Xbox app are both up to date 3. Change power options to use balanced 4. Run idle tasks or don't touch computer for 30 minutes to allow idle tasks to automatically start. 5. Update CPU drivers. Ensure you have them all or core parking won't work. You may need to update your bios for this.

Best performance for price without going into industry level CPU’s

Dead quick and reasonable priced now, you do need some decent cooling ordinary heat sink and fan will not cut it with this probably some sort of liquid cooling loop required

If you can find a deal on it, it is a wonderful gaming/productivity CPU. It is not as fast as the 7800X3D when gaming, as only 6 of the cores have the 3D cache. The other 6 cores are the standard Zen 4 cores with non-3D cache. Be sure to update your AMD chipset drivers, and set your power plan in Windows 11 to “balanced” to get the best use of the gaming cores. This is a surprisingly great chip if you get it for the correct price. Wait for it to be on sale and you won’t be sorry!

Lembro quando comprei o I7 4790k em meados de 2013,2014, foi uma fortuna surreal na época, levei pedra pelo preço e pela "desnecessidade" de algo tão forte e caro, mas aquele processador segurou todos os meus trabalhos, jogos, faculdades, concursos nestes 10 anos todo que passamos juntos, firme e forte enquanto via outras pessoas fazendo upgrade a cada 4 anos. Ryzen 9 7900x3d entendo que seja para quem procura longevidade sem precisar pagar os mais de um rim/4 mil reais no 7950x3d, jogar bem igual o 7800x3d, com fôlego de mais nucleos, thread e frequência, buscando ficar longos anos sem precisar se preocupar com processador, placa mãe, ram, etc. Entendo que foi um investimento a longo prazo chutar mais alto e ir além do 7800x3d. Ryzen 9 7900x3d é um meio termo entre o idolatrado 7800x3d e o caríssimo 7950x3d. Se procura o melhor processador apenas para jogar: 7800x3d e seja feliz (segura rtx 4090 sem folga). Se tem grana sobrando e, simplesmente quer o melhor que o dinheiro pode comprar da amd pro pcs domésticos: 7950x3d. Quer algo acima do 7800x3d e menos que o relativamente caro7950x3d? Este cara é o 7900x3d. Ultra feliz com a compra deste processador, é surreal a diferença prática que senti do, agora aposentado, i7 4790k com overclock. Sinto que vou ficar com essa fera (R9 7900x3d) até 2030 e além, segurando tudo o que existe e o que há de vir com o passar dos anos (no Max, trocar só a placa de vídeo, estou com uma rtx 4070).
