Worked well for a total beginner like myself. Blades seemed sharp enough and they provide enough material to make quite a few stamps. This is the only one I have made so far.

EDIT: The seller reached out to me and made this order right. I'm upgrading my star count from 3 to 4. I'm just getting started in linocutting and thought this would be a good first set. I still believe it to be but there are a couple things I'd change based on my initial experience with one block... The cutting set is decent and I've had no issues assembling it; however, the smallest cutter isn't small enough for any type of detail. If you're just cutting out big shapes with zero details it's fine but to outline anything with precision, this isn't going to be a good set. I've already supplemented the cutter with one made by Speedball. The lino blocks are nice, as far as I know. I've never cut any other type or brand so I guess I'm not a good one to judge on that. It was an oversight on my part to not realize this set does not come with ink. I guess I assumed any starter kit would. Just know that going in. So, the takeaway for me is I got this set purely for the blocks and brayer. Not terrible but knowing what I do now I would've pieced my own set together.

This kit is wonderful for beginners, the rubber blocks are thick but they cut smoothly and cleanly. I was able to make over 10 stamps out of one 4x6 block and some of them are double sided. Not that bad for my first attempt.

The cutting blades are not the proper size based on their numbers. The smallest size, the number one, was as big if not bigger than the number two. As a beginner, I wondered why I was not getting great results and then I ordered the name brand version of the cutting blades. The name brand number one blade is teeny tiny, which makes for much better detailed cutting.

This is a nice little beginner carving kit. Blades are sharp and the rubber is easy to cut.

Update: the seller was very kind and gave me a full refund since the roller was not working. Good customer service. I am happy. The roller does not go on evenly. It seems like the middle of it does not touch the surface at all. The smallest tool head works very well but i find the others arnt as sharp. This is the first kit I bought maybe thats just how they are but I wish I had got a different one. It also doesnt come with ink.

Bon kit de débutant pour se pratiquer. Les outils sont peut-être un peu trop cheap par contre... Difficile de travailler avec vs d'autres outils que j'ai déjà testé. J'aime bien que les têtes puissent se changer, mais si on va trop profond dans le carré de lino, on reste pris dedans. Aussi, quand on creuse dans le carré, cest un peu compliqué de voir où on trace les dessins, car le bloc est tout de la même couleur. Certains blocs que j'ai utilisé ont des carré avec la couche du milieu plus pâle pour mieux voir ce que l'ont fait... Comme je dis, c'est un bon kit de débutant, mais une fois avoir essayé d'autres produits un peu plus chers je crois qu'on réalise pourquoi c'est un kit pas cher. Pour essayer voir si on aime ça je trouve que c'est parfait et ca se donne bien en cadeau pour quelqu'un qui aimerait essayer et commencer la linogravure!
